Work Text:

Peggy stood in front of the home of Victor Halliwell as she sighed and knocked on the door.

Victor opened the door as he looked at Peggy. “Can I help you?”

Peggy smiled a little as she looked at Victor. “Hi dad.”

Victor stared at Peggy as he smiled faintly. “Peggy?”

Peggy hugged him tight. “Can we talk dad?

Victor chuckled as he smiled and hugged her. “Sure, Peggy come on in.” He stepped back inside as he walked over to his couch.

Peggy followed him inside as she looked around. “Dad, I need answers.”

Victor sighed as he folded his arms as he smiled at her. “I knew this day would eventually come.” He gestured to the sofa. “Sit down.?

Peggy walked over and sat down on the sofa as she looked at him.

Victor sat down beside her as he put his arm around her. “By the time you came along me and Patty were already separated and Grams has her handful with your sisters.”

Peggy looked at him as she leaned against him. “So where did I go?”

Victo chuckled a little as he smiled at her. “You stayed with me when you were younger. I figured long as you never found out you were a witch too you would be safe.”

Peggy looked at him as she scooted closer. “Did you know that I was different?”

Victor sighed as he patted her shoulder. “Yes, an elder appeared before us and told us you power was unique and that you would be important ant. I didn’t exactly know what that meant but Patty and Grams seemed to understand.”

Peggy nodded as she looked at him. “What happened?”

Victor sighed as he glanced at her. “Well, Grams and I had another fight ad patty sided with her of course they didn’t like I was hiding you like I tried to do with your sisters. I told them it's much too dangerous and that you were still young.”

Peggy nodded as she looked at him. “So, were you ever gonna tell me I had sisters or that I was a witch?”

Victor chuckled as he looked at her. “Not for a long time I was gonnna wait until you grew up and capable of taking care of yourself.”

Peggy looked at him as she rested her head against him. “What did Grams think of there being another Halliwell?”

Victor chuckled as he smiled. “She was surprised at first there was only supped the three for the Charmed Ones.  She was hesitant to accept the idea of another sister. By the time you came along though your sisters were bit older.”

Peggy looked at him as she chuckled a little. “Did they know about my purpose?”

Victor sighed as he smiled a little. “I like to think they did. By the time you would discover you were a witch you were off on your own. It was a matter of timing and some unfortunate events to bring you back.”

Peggy sighed as she bit her lip as she looked at him. “Prue.”

Victor sighed as he hugged her gently. “Yes, you had a specific purpose that would only happen after that tragic event.”

Peggy looked at him as she hugged him. “Why?”

Victor chuckled as he smiled at her. “So, you could protect your sisters while there is no Power of Three.”

Peggy looked at him as she sighed. “What if there is a new Charmed one?”

Victor chuckled as he smiled. “You will still be important if there happened be a new Charmed one you will be protecting her and helping her adjust.”

Peggy nodded as she looked at Victor. “I feel like I am bigger target then the Charmed ones.”

Victor chuckled as he looked at her. “In a way you are your power you are chosen with the rare power of deflection ad have that sixth sense. Demons see you as a threat.

Peggy smirked and chuckled. “Not to mention Cole.”

Victor sighed as e nodded. “Right Cole, I don’t like him either.”

Peggy smirked and chuckled. “My sense as you call goes off when he is nearby.”

Victor chuckled as he hugged her. “As it should he isn’t to be trusted.”

Peggy hugged Victor as she smiled. “Phoebe trusts him and likes him.”

Victor chuckled as he looked at Peggy. “Phoebe has a big heart and thinks there is good in everyone.”

Peggy chuckled as she nodded. “Yeah, I know even in a demon.”
