“Should you be holding them in your injured hand?”, Jannik asks, concern showing on his face, when Carlos attempts to teach him a new card game.
Carlos rolls his eyes. “I can still use it.”
“...But there is no fracture, right?”
“Jannik”, Carlos says. “I shouldn’t—”
“I know, I know. I’m sorry”, he mutters, sheepish.
Carlos hesitates for a moment. Then, he mumbles, “It’s not a fracture.”
