Roderick Strong doesn’t make a habit of staying longer than he’s needed, and usually skips out before he’s even wanted. He’s a tumbleweed, impermanent and ever-moving throughout the wind of life. If he doesn’t put down roots, there’s nothing to dig up when the poison starts seeping into the soil.
But recently, a stupid, bland Orange tree has started growing in the soil beside him, offering him shade when the sun’s been getting too hot.
It should annoy him more than it does.
