Chapter Text
White Lily stared around at her surroundings. The Avatar of Destiny’s souls that held eternal anger for the witches screeched with fury at nearly every moment. So this was limbo. This was the eternal damnation she’d earned for her sins, wasn’t it? Silent Salt should’ve been able to open the rift by now…right? How much time had passed? Was the war over?
Every moment, it felt like she was losing herself inch by inch. Sometimes, she forgot her own name, identity, everything…then it would come back moments later.
It was agony waiting for her greatest companion, Silent Salt, to open the rift…if he even could. Right… Dark Enchantress needed to open the rift then Silent Salt would have to order the Kala Namak knights to hold it open long enough for me to escape with the Avatar of Destiny. No ordinary cookie could open it, but a witch, even if not quite real, absolutely could.
She sighed, the sound hardly echoing before dissipating into nothingness. This sparked yet another wave of screeches from the Avatar of Destiny. It wasn’t exactly…fun. However, the spirits would receive their revenge once they got their hands on a witch. They would finally be put to rest, and she could finally let her dough become one with the wind. The Light of Freedom would reign eternal with her physical being seeming to have never existed in the first place.
White Lily allowed her wings to rest. She’d grown tired of straining against whatever it was that felt like the sludge of the pot at the Witches’ Banquet. It was simply exhausting, and wasn’t helping with just how difficult it was to remember anything about herself. Every moment spent extending every muscle in her body was another moment that she was losing to keep her strength.
She finally let her hands come to her sides, wings idle in their position. She couldn’t exactly sit—such an action would cause her to sink further, wouldn’t it? She was already face to face with the Avatar of Destiny…which was far deeper than she’d intended to get.
Alas, exhaustion came with its consequences. Her eyes drooped, a slight frown forming on her face. She would remain trapped. Maybe, just maybe, it would be for eternity.
Unconsciousness finally took over her body.
