Chapter Text
Hook shuddered, failing to suppress a low moan from his voice module. He had to stop himself from tripping forward over his own pedes and grasped at the side of the medical berth to reclaim his balance. Quickly turning around, he glared at the mech who had snuck a servo to tease at his array panel and hit him across the helm with his datapad.
"Ow! What was that for?"
"Don't touch me with your filthy servos!" Hook growled, sending a deadly glare at Wildrider who pouted at the medic from the berth.
"But I'm horny!" Wildrider whined. He flailed his arms in the air, trying to signify the sheer gravity of his situation. "I've been stuck in this medbay for an entire day. Can't you at least use those dexterous servos to give me a quick— ow ow ow!"
Tired of Wildrider's complaints, Hook pressed a digit into the wire entrails that gushed out of the side of his abdomen. He had been in the process of getting the mech stitched up but was now having second thoughts. "Keep talking if you want to end up with another hole in your frame."
"I'm only speaking the truth!" Wildrider pouted, looking up at Hook with pleading optics. The medic vented and decided to give the young bot some mercy and finally remove his digits from the wound. "Listen, back at the combiner barracks I'm always hearing you and the constructicons go at it like crazy. I know this because you're not afraid to keep your voice down Hook." Wildrider sent him a coy grin, bursting into laughter as heat billowed from Hook's vents. "So cute! Come on, just let me hit once!"
Rolling his optics, Hook started walking across the room, ignoring Wildrider's complaints and looking through his supplies as he tried to find the least effective anesthesia for Wildrider's repairs. The stunticons had a run-in with the aerialbots during Megatron's most recent attack on the Autobots. During the fight Superion had gotten a hold of Menasor's left leg and crunched poor Wildrider under his grip. The stunticon was now in the Decepticon medbay getting treated by Hook, but so far he's just been a pain in the aft for the poor medic. Hook wanted nothing more than to kick him out without treating his wounds, but Megatron would likely shoot him with his cannon if all his combiners were not at top condition.
"Come on doc, I'll make it worth your while. Vortex has told me my spike is like meeting with the allspark. He overload instantly each time."
Wildrider wiggled his eyebrowplates, grinning as Hook turned around to glare at the stunticon.
"He probably fakes it so he can get you away from him as soon as possible," Hook teases, finally smiling while watching Wildrider sputter from the retort. He walks back to the berth, shoving Wildrider's helm against the berth and smirks when he holds up what is clearly a chainsaw.
"Uh, Hook?"
"Don't squirm unless you want to end up as half the bot you used to be."
A high-pitched shriek fills the room, echoing down the halls and making several bots look up from their energon cubes. The stunticons shake their helm, knowing that Wildrider had likely done something to piss off the medic.
Definitely deserved.
Hook never considered Wildrider's flirtatious attempts as anymore than the stunticon getting up to his usual hijinks. It never stood out to Hook as anything more than a young bot wanting to get his spike wet. Hook didn't notice anything at first, oblivious to the advances. That is, after the recent three interactions, he started to notice that something was very off.
It started off with Swindle, which honestly wasn't that weird to begin with. The mech was known to encapsulate all human sins in one manner or another. While greed was his main motive and the reason his spark kept pumping, he would still dabble in acts of lust occasionally.
Swindle had the great idea of coming up to Hook while he was sitting with Long Haul and Scavenger in the mess hall. The three constructicons were having a conversation about the latest evil invention Megatron wanted them to build, until they were so rudely interrupted by Swindle taking a seat right across from Hook.
"What do you want?" Long Haul spat as soon as Swindle sat down.
The greedy bot simply ignored the two glaring constructicons and focused his attention on Hook. He smiled, trying to act suave.
Hook grimaced.
"Hook, word around base is that you're running real low on medical supplies."
Hook hated how Swindle knew everything. It wasn't anything that was being passed around in rumors, but Hook did just speak with Soundwave this morning about their equipment shortage. They've been on a bit of a losing streak with the Autobots so more supplies were being used with no way of replenishing their stock. That was a private conversation with Soundwave, but the fact that Swindle knew about it meant that he was snooping around for certain information.
"Yeah, what's it to you?"
Swindle grinned, looking like a sparkling in a candy shop. "Well you see, I have a lot of contacts, and those contacts have access to a lot of supplies. Important supplies that can be advantageous for all of us."
Scavenger, who sat to the left of Hook, quickly took his gestalt's servo into his own. He leaned against Hook's arm, slotting himself into the crook of his shoulder while hissing at the conniving combaticon.
"I wouldn't mind getting in contact with my people." Swindle ignored the way Long Haul made himself look bigger, crossing his huge arms across his chassis. He kept his gaze on Hook, roving his optics down the bot's lithe frame and licking his lips enticingly. "In exchange for a favor."
Hook hesitated, but spoke before he could think. "What kind of favor?"
"Oh well, nothing much, just perhaps an opportunity to frag that tight little valve of yours?"
The table fell silent before Hook was rising to his pedes, sputtering static as a vivid blush rose all the way to his cheeks. He struggled to even get a word out before he was screaming in frustration and tripping over himself to get out of his seat.
Whatever bots were still in the room looked over in confusion as Long Haul had grabbed Swindle by the neck, threatening to beat his faceplate in. Hook was halfway across the room trying to leave and Scavenger was following behind while calling out to Hook. His shovel flailing anxiously like a cat's tail right behind him.
The rest of the combaticons who sat on the opposite side of the room shrugged, deciding that it was too much effort to get involved. They lazily watched while sipping their energon as Swindle got his nose cracked by Long Haul.
The second instance was a bit suspicious but Hook had to pretend like it was a strange coincidence, especially since Blitzwing was a fucking psycho.
Hook was walking down the hall with Bonecrusher. They were talking about the recent demolition derby he had partaken in with the stunticons. Bonecrusher was actually talking excitedly, flailing his arms all over the place, nearly drooling as he recounted the tales of all the destruction. Hook happily listened, enjoying his gestalt's joyous rambles.
Since Hook was distracted and Bonecrusher was so focused on talking, neither of them noticed one of the doors in the hallway slightly part open. A purple servo slipped from the darkness, coming into the light of the hallway and latching onto Hook's crane.
The constructicon could barely get a word out before he was being dragged backwards and into a dark room. The door was shut quietly and Bonecrusher was none the wiser to Hook's disappearance. He continued recounting tales about how he and Dragstrip destroyed an entire city interstate, all while Hook was being shoved against a wall, crowded by Blitzwing who grinned just like a hyena.
"What are you-?"
"Hey Hook, you like sex right?"
The crane groaned, throwing his helm back against the wall and covering his face with the palm of his servos. "What the hell is happening?!" He said, voice muffled.
Blitzwing wasn't concerned about Hook's embarrassment. He took a step back from the constructicon and probed around the darkness until he found the light switch and flipped it on. The fluorescent light blinded Hook for a nano-second before he was blinking his optics and staring at a furious Astrotrain tied up to a chair.
"Blitzwing, what is the purpose of this?! Let me go!" Astrotrain struggled with his restraints. He growled and grunted, sending fierce glares at the grinning triplechanger who leisurely circled him.
"I'm trying to spice things up Astrotrain, don't worry!" He patted the purple bot's cheek, trying to look reassuring but resulting in looking maniacal with his dentae bared. "Didn't you say you wanted to spice things up during interfacing?"
"What?"
"Wait what?" Hook pressed his frame into the wall, trying to escape that eerie smile from the tank.
"I brought Hook here to help. What was it that Dirge called it…" Blitzwing mused, patting a digit over his chin before a lightbulb lit up above his helm. "Oh yeah, scissoring!"
Astrotrain and Hook both screamed.
The constructicon medic immediately ran to the door but found that it wasn't budging no matter how many times he jiggled the knob or slammed his fist against the door.
Astrotrain yelled at Blitzwing, flailing his pedes in the air and trying to kick his partner right across the faceplate.
Blitzwing laughed, enjoying the chaos that was unfolding.
"I think it would be really hot if you and Hook scissored. Come on Astro, don't you think it'll feel really good if you had something soft to rub against here?" Blitzwing's voice suddenly went low. A baritone that send shudders down Astrotrain's spinal strut. The shuttle tried fighting his restraints, but found his strength sapped by the way Blitzwing got behind him and reached over to fondle the panel between his legs. "I want to see you falling apart~!"
"You freaking-!" Astrotrain's voice hitched, groaning as Blitzwing scratched along a sensitive seam.
Hook on the other hand was panicking even more. "Hey listen, I'm not really feeling good right now so if you can just let me go then I'll be on my way."
Before anyone could say anything else, a loud and thunderous roar suddenly cut through the panic. The floor started shaking, the sound of scrapping metal irritated their audials and the door in front of Hook was suddenly ripped straight from the wall as a seething Bonecrusher held it in his servos.
"Bonecrusher hey!" Blitzwing either did not care or was not privy to the deadly aura Bonecrusher was emanating, but Hook was not going to stay anywhere near him to find out.
"Say buddy, you want to join in? I hold down Astrotrain and you hold Hook and we make them scissor!"
Wrong fucking thing to say.
Blitzwing's cannon and Bonecrusher's bulldozer echoed down the halls as carnage was spread. Hook immediately scurried underneath Bonecrusher, racing down the hall to find Scrapper so he could stop their gestalt from literally destroying half of the base and later earning themselves Megatron's fury.
Later that same day Astrotrain had to comfort a beat up Blitzwing who pouted while demanding his conjunx to hand feed him energon after getting both of his arms literally crushed by Bonecrusher.
Twice is a coincidence, three times is enemy action.
At least that's what the humans called it.
The final interaction that really made Hook take a step back and contemplate what was going on was when he and Mixmaster were called in to report to Soundwave regarding the status of their base expansion. Mixmaster was too high-strung to go through the notes Scrapper gave them so it was up to Hook to try and read through the chicken scratch.
While Soundwave was diligently listening to the report, his cassettes were scattered across the room. Some, like Ravage, were taking a rest in the corner, tucked on top of a cozy bed that looked better than any bot's berth in this base. Lazerbeak listened from her perch next to the communications console. She preened her feathers, twisting her helm from side to side to get herself all cleaned up. Lastly, Rumble and Frenzy stood on opposite sides of Soundwave, pretending to act professional but failing when they started slapping each other behind Soundwave's legs.
The TIC vented tiredly but didn't say anything. Mixmaster laughed and Hook rolled his optics.
Once Hook was done giving his report he put the datapad down and waited for any additional inquiries from Soundwave.
"I have a question!" Rumble raised his servo, shoving Frenzy away from him who snickered at his twin. "Where do sparklings come from?"
That was not what Hook wanted to hear nor did he want to answer that question in front of Soundwave himself.
"Ask Soundwave," Hook said flatly.
"You're a medic, you should know this!" Frenzy butted into the conversation, walking straight up to Hook and crossing his arms over his chassis. "We wanna know, so tell us!"
Hook wanted nothing more than to bash his face into the wall. Mixmaster wasn't helping by patting his shoulders, unable to hide that gleeful smile from his face. To him this was just a joke, another part of the cassettes shenanigans.
"Cease questions at once." Soundwave interrupted, hoping that he could wrangle his cassettes before things got worse.
Unfortunately, Rumble and Frenzy weren't going down without a fight and started whining and complaining when Soundwave tried to pull them back.
"No we want to know where sparklings come from! We heard the insecticons talking about how Hook is the perfect brood mare so we want to know where sparklings come from and if he can have them!"
Hook literally wished the ground would open up and swallow him whole. He could not handle this kind of embarrassment for much longer. He was already planning how to deal with the insecticons later, and so was Mixmaster considering he was muttering things about insecticide and creating poison to kill those damn bugs.
"Hook you should have Soundwave's sparklings!"
"Yeah!"
"What are you even talking about?!" Hook screamed. He stepped back, trying to fight off the two cassettes that were now clinging to his legs.
Soundwave panicked, falling to the floor and trying to pry his cassettes away.
"If you have sparklings then they'll be combiners," Rumble proclaimed.
"Then they can transform into a big bot a beat up Skywarp for us!" Frenzy declared.
The twins cheered, letting go of Hook's shaking legs and began to jump around in circles. They were acting like everything they said was set in stone and Hook was obviously going to become sparked with Soundwave's sparklings who were going to be a combiner team.
Totally makes sense.
Ravage used a paw to hide her amused smile while Lazerbeak turned around to ignore the twins commotion. Despite his usual calm and composed attitude, Soundwave actually looked like he was going to explode. A hint of energon dusted his cheeks, blushing at his cassettes' announcement of his supposed future sparklings. Exhausted, the Communications Officer could only wave a servo at the constructicons, telling them that they were no longer needed.
Hook and Mixmaster walked out of the room without another word.
The next day the insecticons and even Skywarp ended up in the medbay with their frames melted from what he can only assume was Mixmaster's corrosive concoctions.
Walking into the Constructicons' barracks, Hook stopped at the entrance, surveying the room as he counted each gestalt member.
Scrapper was looking through his datapad, Scavenger clinging to his side and Bonecrusher dozing off in the berth next to them. Long Haul was focused on some human drama show and Mixmaster was humoring Long Haul by pretending to watch the show but instead staring at Long Haul.
All constructicons were accounted for.
Shutting the door behind him, Hook took a few steps inside before stopping at the center of the room.
Scrapper noticed his gestalt's nervous EM field radiating from just a few feet away and put down his datapad to focus on the medic.
"What's wrong?"
Hook opened his intake to speak but quickly closed. He hesitated, biting the inside of his cheek and wringing his servos together. The lack of response caught the attention of the other members who looked at their fidgeting gestalt.
"I… I think the Decepticons want to proposition me for sex."
another long pause before Mixmaster was falling back on his spinal strut, kicking his pedes on the ground like a sparkling throwing a tantrum.
"You think?! Half the bots in this base want to frag you Primus dammit!"
"What do you mean half?" Scrapper questioned, confused by such a conclusion.
"Yeah, you mean like 90% actually," interrupted Bonecrusher. "The only bots who don't want to stick it in you are Megatron and Trypticon! At least yet…"
Hook balked, gasping dramatically. "I beg your pardon!" He glanced over at Scrapper who raised an eyebrowplate. "It's just an observation I mean— no, they couldn't who would even—"
"Swindle wanted to trade medical supplies to frag you, Blitzwing wanted to watch you and Astrotrain scissor, the cassettes wanted you to have Soundwave's sparklings so they can have combiner siblings, the Insecticons want to use you as an egg incubator, and I heard Menasor nearly sheathed his spike mid-battle when you were trying to treat his wounds!" Scavenger erupted, having risen from the berth to speak as loudly as possible.
Hook waved a digit at Scavenger, stuttering through his words. "H-how did you know about Menasor?!"
"Sixshot told me who by the way, said he would be happy to take you for a ride anytime you're free 'darling'?" He put up his digits in air quotes, showing his unamused expression at the fact that Sixshot was using pet names for Hook like it was nothing.
All constructicons looked to Hook with furrowed brows while the medic turned away sheepishly.
"I tried telling him to stop…"
"Okay wait, how was all of this happening and no one told me?" Scrapper rose from his seat, looking around at his gestalt member's who tried avoid optic contact.
"Because we knew you would panic?" Responded Long Haul.
"Panic? Oh no no, I'm not going to panic. Do I look panicked? Do I look like I'm going to go out there and try to beat the slag out of every combiner team and Decepticon on this base?" Despite his calm voice, Scrapper looked exactly like what he just finished describing. His visor darkened as anger rose to the top of his helm, vents hitched open and fans were blowing at max capacity.
"Uh…" everyone said in unison. Too bad whatever was going to be said was cut short because Scrapper started stomping out of their room, walking into halls and screaming at the top of his lung capacitator.
"You want to touch what belongs to me, huh?!"
"Someone stop him!"
Long Haul and Scavenger quickly scampered out of the room. They each clung to Scrapper's arms, trying to hold him back from throwing a punch at Motormaster who was also being held back by the stunticons. Unfortunately, Scrapper did not earn his title as constructicon leader for nothing and was dragging Long Haul and Scavenger down the hall as he tried to kick down the doors to the combiner barracks.
"If you want to fight I'll give you a good punch it'll send you back to Cybertron!" Motormaster yelled, trying to free his fist from Breakdown's clutches while said mech anxiously cried.
"Let's do it! I'll show all of you why you shouldn't go touching my property! You too Swindle, don't think I don't see you laughing over there!" Scrapper turned to snarl at Swindle who quickly hid behind Onslaught.
The rest of the constructicons ran out of the room, holding back their leader who kept yelling obscenities and threatening any bot who even looked in their direction. Hook was the last to pile out of the room, venting tiredly at the commotion taking place in the hallway. He was kind of hoping things wouldn't end up this way, but he had too much hope that Scrapper wouldn't let his possessiveness take over. Their leader was the last bot he wanted to tell about the unfortunate circumstances happening around the base, and now his lapse of judgement caused all of this to happen.
Hook didn't want to do it, but there was only one way to bring Scrapper back.
Stepping out into the halls he pushed his way through the arguing bots and got between Motormaster and Scrapper. Hook locked optics with Scrapper, wrapped his arms around the mech's shoulders and dove in for a kiss across his face shield.
Someone whistled across the room but Hook could no longer be bothered to give a damn about who was around and watching. His lips pressed against the cool metal, glossa hesitantly lapping at the hard surface and optics fluttering enticingly. Pulling away, Hook kept his frame close, leaning to the side to whisper into Scrapper's audial.
"I want you inside of me, please…"
That's all he needed for Scrapper to instantly change his tune. The constructicon shoved everyone off of him with little effort and literally hoisted Hook into his arms causing the crane to wrap his legs around Scrapper's waist for support.
"Constructicons, in the room, now!" He barked an order and it was followed.
The Stunticons and Combaticons were quickly forgotten about and the Constructicons shuffled back into their room. They locked the door behind them, shutting themselves away from any prying optics and watched as their leader threw the lewd bot down onto a large berth at the far back of the room.
Hook yelped, moving on instinct and spreading his limbs as he looked up at Scrapper with a darkened visor.
Scrapper growled, slotting himself between Hook's legs and pulling him back all the way until his panel was perfectly aligned with Scrapper's.
"I am going to fucking ruin you. We are each going to take turns showing those cheap, rusted toasters who you belong to and what names you'll be screaming all night long."
Engines purred. All constructicons slowly surrounded Hook on berth, each smiling and emitting EM field that proudly declared their intentions. Hook couldn't help but shudder, knowing that tonight he was going to be absolutely ruined.
"Fine then, try and ruin me."
