Work Text:
Lilith, not Eve, was Adam's first wife. Whether you believe in Eden as a garden or, as I do, an advanced city built by the Gods to guide humanity after a great catastrophe in 4000 BC and Adam its King, the main events of her story remain the same.
Created to be Adam's partner and Queen, Lilith was proud and independent from the start. Adam, wishing to be the 'master' so to speak, always made Lilith lay beneath him during sex, a position she soon found tiresome and degrading.
When she spoke to her husband about it Adam refused to consider another position, believing it his right to enjoy sex the way he wanted with little regard to how Lilith felt.
Things continued on like this until Lilith couldn't stand it anymore and she fled Eden, heading towards the Red Sea.
Adam called upon his father, the Sumerian God of Magic and Earth, Enki, to help retrieve his runaway bride. Enki sent two Angels after her but before they could reach her Lilith came across the fallen Archangel Samael, one of Satan's Generals.
Samael, seeing an opportunity to twist one of the Annunaki's creations, seduced Lilith and made her his wife, ensuring she was forever lost to Adam.
From this union Lilith bore several children, and shed her human identity to become a Demon.
It is said she hunts newborns, sneaking into homes at night and drinking their blood while their parents sleep unawares, flying away in the form of an owl after her feast is finished.
In the ancient Middle East she was among the most feared creatures regardless of ethnicity, mothers using charms and amulets to ward of her 'visits."
Lilith also, according to Jewish tradition, acts as a Succubus, entering the dreams of sleeping men and forcing them into sexual intercourse through which she robs them off their life energy.
