Chapter Text
There's a very cozy house straight out of the sixties with their traditional multi colored exteriors, and carpeted interiors, giving way to other rooms with tilled floors. Sitting at a moderately sized table is a man reading. A woman walks up behind him and puts her arms around him. The man puts his book down. "Did you want to do something?" He asked. "Maybe a walk, I'm tired of being cooped up here for the summer." "Well alright, a walk couldn't hurt..." The man stretched beginning to stand up. "...Unless it's to a junkyard." The woman smiled. "Oh, Ian do you ever look at one of those police boxes and wonder if things would be different if it opened." "All the time Barbara, sometimes I even open one." Ian held out his arm for Barbara to take. "Now how about that walk?" However right when they walk outside something dark swallows them up.
...."What the, what's going on? WHERE AM I!" Multiple voices shout at once. "You are where time stands still, don't be alarmed." "Did you hear that?" Said a (likely) 40 year old woman. "Aye, It sounded like it was coming from me head." A scotsman replied. "I gathered you all here, people from the past, and the future." "Why?" "Because I am not satisfied with events as they are, and so you must know, in order to change and grow." "Oh, a-and who do you think you are Hmm?" Disbelief spread across Barbara's face. "Ian is that?" Ian noded looking much the same as Barbara. "I am the T.A.R.D.I.S." "The Tardis?!" A scruffy looking man questioned with raised eyebrows. "Well how delightful." A curly haired man said with a large grin. "I'll say I've never had a ship speak directly to me before. Especially not my own." "YOUR SHIP?!" "Yes, that's what I said, there's no need to shout if you want to verify that." "Uh, yeah but I just thought... isn't the Tardis this one's ship?" A younger blonde asked indicating to a man in a leather jacket. "His ship but-?"
"Be at ease and let me explain." The room fell silent as they listened to the Tardis. "You are all here because you know The Doctor. You all also know The Doctor is from another world." Multiple people looked at 'their' version of The Doctor and noded. "Sometimes in dire moments when one of his kind is in trouble they will regenerate. Regeneration is a process where every cell of the body must be rebuilt. And so it perserves life yet also changes the appearance, and affects the personality. Though all the memories remain the same." "Oh, aye so the curly haired one is the same person as the wee Doctor over here." "Oh, uh yes well I uh I'm not a wee one but we likely are the same being." Replied the scruffy man from earlier.
"What the, Oh! Multiple of me! Always makes for an interesting day." A man in Twees jacket stated enthusiastically. "Uh, Doctor where are we?" "All in do time Rory all in due time." "Alright what's going on here?!" Exclaimed the 40 year old blonde. "Before I answer that, maybe we should all go around and introduce ourselves. You know like in one of those big parties where everyone has to wear a nametag except no one actually reads them because you don't want to accidentally mess up someone's name. Or maybe that's just me?" "Doctor." The red hed standing next to him said sternly. "Sorry. Now, let's get started Me first I seem to be the latest version of myself in this room. Myself being The Doctor of course."
No one else spoke up for a moment. "Rose Tyler. I've only ever met that version of you." Rose pointed to the man in the leather jacket. "Me?" The man pointed to himself. "Jackie Tyler Rose's mum. And of course you, who else would it be?" "Uh, Jamie Mccrimmon, that's the doctor I know." He indicated to the scruffy man. "Ian Chesterton, this is my wife Barbara." "Hello." "Amy Pond." "Rory Williams." ..."Before I introduce myself I want to check something. Do you recognize me?" The question was directed to the curly haired man. "Well, I"m afraid not after all you can't be..." "Sarah Jane." They both say at the same time. "You always leave the Smith out of my name Doctor." Sarah smiled fondly. "You've changed." He replied. "I've gotten older, moved on. Still, it's so good to see you again Doctor." "Same to you Sarah."
"Now." Sarah clapped har hands together. "we should figure out a way to differentiate between the different Doctors here. And they should all introduce themselves." "Hmm oh, yes very well." Said an old man with slicked back white hair. "I am The Doctor. You will call me by no other name." "We-well now who decided that! I'm The Doctor too, and uh, well as a matter of fact I'm the second iteration of the doctor." "Well I think we've found our differentiator. I'm the fourth iteration of The Doctor. Would any of you like a jell baby?" Jamie looked confused. "What's that?" "Well it's a sort of snack Jamie, uh, candy." The 2nd Doctor replied. "Oh, well alright then." Jamie in fact did walk up and get a jelly baby along with a few others. "I already went but I'm the eleventh Doctor. Hello." He waved to no one in particular. "I'm the ninth version of The Doctor. I suppose there's some differences between when some of us have been pulled because I've never met a Rose Tyler before." "You haven't?" "Sorry to disappoint." Rose looks like some mix of sad and slightly frustrated. "Before we begin there are a few more things I would like to mention. 1. We are currently where time does not exist, there is no need to worry about what you were doing before. 2. While I have brought you here to show you the future, for many of you it will be the past. Howevrr to change the future you must see all of it. 3. After this initial viewing there will be one other joining you." "Viewing?" Asks Amy.
"I will explain it all again. For those who were not here."
