Ilya watches his boyfriend's niece Ruby scroll through his phone with her freshly painted fingernails. He still can't believe he got pulled into doing the little girl's nails, but he just couldn't say no to her.
"Uncle Ilya. Uncle Shane. Let's do this together." Ruby says as she stops her scrolling at a video of someone being cutely held in place like a kid as they walk.
"What do you say uncle Ilya? Trend on SNS with our niece?" Shane asks his boyfriend. His brown eyes are full of humor and smiles as he looks over at him.
"I'll film. Won't participate further." Ilya answers as he catches sight of what his boyfriend's niece wants him to do.
"Uncle Ilya. Doesn't love us anymore uncle Shane." Ruby pouts. Going nuclear with forcing her Russian uncle's hand as she puts her face against her other uncle's chest to act like she is about to cry.
Shane laughs as he catches his boyfriend cursing in Russian about kids being menaces. Before walking over and taking their niece away from his side.
"I'll do this video trend with you." Ilya tells Ruby and he curses mentally about being played as the little girl beams at him.
"You hold uncle Shane's shirt, uncle Ilya. And uncle Shane will hold my hair. And my dad can film our video." Ruby directs like a photoshoot photographer before she runs off to get her dad.
"We are getting older kids. After we get married." Ilya comments as he helps his boyfriend stand up.
"You still want kids after being owned by your niece, Rozanov?" Shane questions as he wraps his arms around his boyfriend's waist.
"And just because a kid gets older doesn't make them less menacing." He adds after his boyfriend nods his head yes to his question.
Russian profanity is cut off as Ruby runs back into the run with her dad in tow.
"Film us." Ruby demands as she gets herself and her uncles' in place for their video.
"Don't know why I'm the camera man." Hayden gripes good naturally as his best friend gives him a sympathetic smile about Ruby being in control of things.
"Filming. In. Three. Two...." Hayden announces and his daughter, his best friend, and his best friend's boyfriend all start walking in place like they are being held back cutely by something.
"This needs editing. Before it is posted." Ilya says as he watches the video that was recorded for a while to catch all the right angles to fit the trend.
"Does it? Or do you not want people seeing you being all cute and domestic?" Shane asks as he brings his lips to his boyfriend's forehead.
"I want our video to be the best. Showing off my family is important and done right." Ilya replies. Competitive pride and love in his voice as he gathers Shane and Ruby to his chest.
Before replaying the video. He and Ruby come up with all the editing points for their video. As Shane and Hayden joke about Shane and Ilya adopting Ruby as their daughter instead of their niece.
