Dandy felt sick. terrible even, maybe it was because of how much he overworked himself, but he didn't care. He just wanted this sickness to go away, he felt like vomiting, well, that's even if he could. Since he hadn't eaten anything in forever, probably would've just ended up dry-heaving. his stomach was twisted in every direction. He begged it to stop, well, in his mind, Since he could barely talk anyways. After a small period of the pain dying down, he got up, (or tried) he needed to get something for him to vomit in, since he did not feel like cleaning anything up in this state. Dandy tried standing up, walking over to the door while already feeling dizzy. He opened the door and walked out the best as he could, closing the door behind him and wobbled over to the elevator. Oh god. he was feeling extremely dizzy, he might vomit right here. Dandy frantically pressed some buttons, if he couldn't find a bucket, maybe he could find someone to help.
It landed on a rainbow room, there were some toons sitting at a table infront of elevator—maybe three or four, dandy wasn't sure, since his vision was quite foggy. But he didn't care, he was just glad there was someone who could (hopefully) help him, begging that they wouldn't let him suffer after the whole ichor accident.
Dandy stumbled over, trembling as he did so. When he got closer he could see the four toons; shelly, tisha, and astro. Oh, goodie, hopefully Astro didn't hate him as much. Dandy walked over and rested his head on Astros shoulder, hoping he would maybe help him instead of pushing him away in disgust, "oh!- oh goodness! What happened to you dandy, you look terrible!..." astro grabbed dandy, placing him on his lap as dandys head laid on his chest. Dandy tried to say something but all that came out were mumbles, his eyes closed as he grabbed at him. "Oh my, is he alright? He looks so Sickly..." Shelly asked, putting her hand up to her face in dramatic affect. Astro put his hand on Dandy's forehead, checking his temperature, he was quite hot. Likely a fever. "You're right he does...maybe I should go get him some medicine, can one of you guys watch him while I'm away?...ill be right back..."
Astro had placed Dandy down chair he was sitting on prior Dandy's appearance. but Shelly grabbed him just like Astro did and settled him on top of her, holding him like he was a child. Well, that wasn't far off, due to him being quite a small toon. Shelly rubbed circles on Dandys back as she hummed into his ear, resting her head on Dandy's shoulder. "Do you think he's going to be alright?" Tisha asked, she watched Dandy's petals rise and fall every time he breathed, his petals looked a bit dull, likely due to his sickness. "Yeah, hes probably just being dramatic, likely just a fever." Shelly spoke, poking at his cheek as he grumbled.
After a few minutes, maybe five to ten minutes, Dandy didn't know, he was too tired to even think, let alone imagine the gross medicine he was going to have to take soon; Astro came back with blankets, a vomit bucket, and medicine. Ugh.
Astro took Dandy back from Shelly, Wrapping him in his cloak-like-blanket as he rubbed his petals one by one with his upper arms, using the lower ones to hold onto him tightly as he got the medicine ready for Dandy. Astro loosened his grip on him as he lowered his bottom arms to Dandy's waist, pushing him forward as his back laid on the table, astro brought the Spoon to Dandy's lips with his magic. "say ah...!" He said. Dandy scrunched his face, reeling back in disgust. "Oh, c'mon now, don't be all fussy. You know it will help you!" dandy Growled, which sounded more like a purr.
Astro was tempted to Just shove the spoon in the flowers mouth, but he didn't want him to be grumpy towards him all day, so back to persuading him it was. "ah, I see, you want to stay sick and In pain! My baddd..." astro teased, dandy grumbled, crossing his arms with a pouted lip as he stared at the floor. "well, then, tell me if you change your mind!" he said again,,Dandys eyes flicked up to Astro, then back at the spoon that Astro put down the table. "...fine." He huffed in defear, Opening his mouth slightly, small but wide enough to fit the spoon in.
Astro smiled, chuckling as he lifted the spoon back up and ever so delicately inserted it Into Dandy's mouth. Dandy squirmed, because obviously, it tasted awful. but of course, he had to take it, or else Astro would be bugging him all day. And he would rather take a small spoon of medicine if it means solitude for at least a day instead of getting talked to all afternoon. Astro finally took the spoon out after what felt like an eternity of that disgraceful taste, "bleh!" dandy announced, he stuck out his tongue, closing his eyes tight shut. "Dramatic much." Shelly chirped, rolling her eyes. Astro nodded as he took one of the blankets he set on the floor next to them with him magic. He placed the blanket behind his back, then wrapping it in the front around him, then tying a little knot like bunny ears. "There we go, All better!"
Dandy sat with astro, Wagging his little tail slightly. Tisha and shelly had went back to go eat, leaving Astro and dandy alone. Astro was patting his back the whole time like he was a child, before getting up slowly while holding him tightly to make sure he didn't fall. "alright, I think its time we should go to eat too, yeah?" Dandy merely sighed, leaning into Astro warmly, astro Wrapped the blanket tighter around him one more time before heading back over to the elevator, pressing the buttons to the diner.
Once the doors open astro carefully scampered over to the cooking area, Sprout and cosmo had made some soup, some chicken bites, and noodles. A perfect meal for a sick dandy. There was quite alot left to his surprise, since they were a tad late. Astro took a paper bowl from the stack, using his other magic star to lift the ladle, pouring a generous amount of soup into the bowl. "do you think you'll be able to keep down chicken, dandy?" Astro questioned, wouldn't want dandy puking mid-dinner! Dandy shuffled around, blinking his eyes open and yawning, "...huh?..." Dandy looked around sleepily, before going back to his original position with a simple "...I guess..." before returning to his slumber.
Astro had gotten a bit of everything, a little less chicken than the rest, cause he still wasn't sure if he could eat it all. astro put dandy down on one of the diner seats, readjusting the blanket around his body and redoing the knot in the shape of a bow. "Dandy? Wake up now, its time to eat dinner!" Astro murmured in his ear. Dandy didn't wake up immediately, he stirred slightly in his sleep for a bit, before opening his eyes slightly and groaning. "there you are! Finally awake? Must've had a good nap huh..." Astro chuckled, dandy grunted, moving closer and resting his head on Astros shoulder. "hey now, don't go back to sleep, we have to eat dinner, remember?" Dandy sighed, looking up at astro. He really didn't feel like eating, but his stomach said otherwise. "okay." was all dandy could muster, Grabbing onto Astros blanket and pulled closer. "great!" Astro said, pulling dandy into his blanket and hugging him close to his chest. He grabbed the plastic spoon and put some soup onto it.
"Okay, open up!" Astro said, pushing the spoon to his mouth. Dandy obeyed and opened his mouth, Taking the spoon in his mouth while savoring the soups taste. Astro took it out. "Did that taste good? You think you can hold it down?" Dandy just nodded to all his answers he asked him, too dazed to even talk. Astro got some more soup and shoved the spoon back into his mouth carefully as not to spill the over filled spoons soup.
It continued like that until dandy couldn't eat anymore, astro didn't budge, he didn't want to make dandy more in pain than he probably already was by over feeding him, so he put the bowl of soup in the fridge wrapped in plastic wrap, then going back into the elevator and into the mains' rooms.
"Don't go to sleep yet, dandy. We're not even in bed yet!" Astro sneered, Hugging him tighter and swayed him in his arms like a doll. "well, its fine. I guess I'll just give you your medicine in your sleep!" That woke dandy right up. "why? More medicine?" Dandy shifted upwards to look at astro, seeing him with a smug grin. "I knew that would wake you up. Well obviously, you're still sick, silly!" Dandy grumbled, crossing his arms and pushing his head against Astros chest. Eventually they got into the hallway of the mains' room, astro headed into his room, thinking the darkness and star Night lights on the ceiling would likely help dandy sleep more. So he chose his room as a better choose than his.
Astro set dandy down on his bed, taking the blanket off him and setting it in the nightstand, dandy tried to scurry to lay, but astro held him up in a sitting position."not yet, dandy! You have to take your medicine first, remember?" Astro chirped, taking the liquid medicine In hand. "do you still want liquid, dandy? Or maybe pills?" Astro said, snickering. Dandy stared up at him, clearly too tired for jokes. The moon knew he couldn't take pills! Its like he was picking on him. Maybe he was, dandy couldn't understand the tone in his voice, but he didn't care either way. "alright, alright, Liquid it is." Astro took off the lid, pouring liquid onto a small spoon, and pushing it through Dandy's mouth
Dandy scrunched his face, swallowing it all down quickly so it could be over. "There we go! Good job, dandy." He praised, taking the spoon out and scruffing the fur on Dandy's cheeks. "Gross." He huffed, gulping more to try and get rid of the taste. Astro finally settled dandy down on the bed, tucking him in with the sheets and blankets and dandy shifted around on his side. Fluffing the pillow behind his head before getting in the bed with him, wrapping his arms around him and pulling him into a hug tightly.
"Sweet dreams, dandy." Astro said as he kissed his forehead. Dandy responded with small "goodnight..." Before going Into his slumber.
Dandy couldn't say it, but He loved how astro treated him.
