“Widen your stance a bit. Yeah, like that. Shoulder-width apart.” Clint nudged Phil’s right foot with his own, so Phil’s legs were spread a bit wider.
“I know what the proper stance is,” Phil grumbled, even as he shifted slightly back, so Clint’s chest was only an inch or two behind him. He kept his arms extended, level in front of him, elbows slightly bent, a firm two-handed grip on his Glock. “I just lost some muscle mass, not my muscle memory.”
“You said you wanted help to make sure you got your field clearance back,” Clint said, his mouth right next to Phil’s ear. “I’m helping.”
