Summary
Jo pats the grass beside him, “Lay down.” With me goes unsaid but by the blush that consumes Sakura’s face, he thinks he might have let them slip. The Bofurin member grumbles complaints, gesturing to Jo like he’s the odd one here.
“Why are you out here hiding from everyone?” Sakura accuses him, fingers twitching where they curl into the grass, unfamiliar with the softness.
Jo mulls a response while he watches Sakura take in his surroundings, and notices for the first time that the area is openly bathed in sunlight. Sakura slightly shadows Jo, blocking the sun like an eclipse before awkwardly sitting, not lying, down near the older boy.
