Previous chapter: Isabella - IPOV
I squeak in surprise as Demetri sweeps me off my feet with a low growl. I giggle as he carries me to our room at vampire speed and throws me on our bed. A shiver runs down my back as he lets out another soft growl, and I purr in anticipation as he stalks closer and says, " No one’s ever loved anyone as much as I love you. You are everything to me. Ti amo tanto, Isa.”
Demetri - DPOV
It still stuns me when I think about how drastically my life changed since meeting Isabella. I will never be happier than I am right now while holding her in my arms. This beautiful, caring woman turned my whole world upside down, and she changed it for the better. No words spoken were ever more true. Isabella is everything to me. I simply can’t imagine living my life without her. With that thought, I quickly close the final distance between us and move Isabella’s hair back over her shoulder before trailing kisses along the side of her neck. I chuckle as she lets out a soft moan. I love how she reacts to even the simplest of touches. It makes me love her even more.
I watch in rapture as Isabella rips the shirt from my body before moving her fingers down my torso, and my member hardens as she starts unbuttoning my jeans. I wait for her to finish before removing our cloaks and slowly turning Isabella around so I can unzip her dress. I hold my breath as it falls to the ground and bite back a groan as I take in the beautiful sight before me. I smile as I whisper, “Sei cosí bella, mia Isa. You’re so beautiful, my Isa. You take my breath away every time."
Isabella shivers as I trail my fingers along the sides of her breasts, and I growl lowly as I smell her arousal while Isabella makes quick work of my jeans and boxers. She bites her lower lip as she wraps her hand around my rock-hard member, and I can’t stop myself from thrusting into her hand as I groan: “God, Isa, you will be the death of me. I want you so much.”
Isabella smiles coyly as she lets go of me to lie down on the bed. Her eyes are pitch-black from desire as she opens up her legs for me, and I can’t help but stare at the beautiful sight in front of me. I take a second to brand this image into my memory: my gorgeous Isa with her legs spread wide, all wet for me. Her voice is barely above a whisper as she says, “Can you see how much I want you, Demi? Please, make love to me. Don’t make me wait any longer.”
My lust spikes as Isabella moves her hands over her own body. One hand moves to palm her breast while the other moves down her body. A delicious moan escapes her lips as her fingers reach her clit, and the sound triggers the beast inside me. I growl before moving on top of her with vampire speed and pushing my member into her wet center in one swift stroke. My voice sounds hoarse as I say, “Fuck, Isa, you’re perfect! You are made for me, tesoro.”
Isabella moans loudly as she digs her nails into my shoulders while saying, “Please, Demi. You make me feel so good. Make love to me.”
God, who am I to deny this woman anything she asks for? I groan as I slowly start moving in and out of her wet center. My Isabella is sheer perfection. She was created to complete me, just as I complete her. And I will love her for eternity. Isabella gasps for unneeded air as I pick up the pace before throwing one of her legs over my shoulder. The new angle makes my Isa scream in pleasure, “Fuck, yes! Don’t you dare stop… that feels so good… Please, Demi, faster…”
I moan as I feel how her walls start to tighten around me, and my eyes roll back into my head as I pick up the pace while saying, “Fuck, you’re so tight. I love how you feel wrapped around me. Come with me, Isa… ”
Isabella nods as she arches her back a little, and I groan as I move even deeper inside her. The next thrust sends both of us over the edge with a thundering roar. Fuck, I don’t think I ever came this hard in my life. I purr in contentment as I pull her close, and her fingers start making intricate patterns on my torso. I will never get tired of making love to my beautiful wife. I smile as I kiss her head before saying, “I love you so much, amore mio.”
I can feel Isabella smile as she snuggles closer and says, “I love you too, Demi, more than I ever thought possible.”
We don’t leave our bed as the night slowly falls over Volterra with us gazing at a star-filled sky. These moments make me wish I could fall asleep with Isabella in my arms, her head resting on my shoulder. I kiss the top of her head and groan loudly as someone ruins the whole mood by knocking on our door. Isabella giggles as I pull the covers over our heads and yell, “Go away!”
We both sigh as we hear Felix snicker on the other side of the door before knocking again, much louder this time. I fight the urge to kick his ass as I pull Isabella closer and say, “I mean it, Felix. Get lost!”
Felix chuckles again before saying, “No can do, Demetri. We planned a karaoke night, and Heidi sent me down to get you to join us. You're not getting out of it. Not after Isabella mentioned your awesome singing skills. Game room in five minutes! Trust me when I say that you don’t want Heidi to come over and drag you there, brother.”
I groan again as Isabella enthusiastically tries to pull the covers away from me while saying, "Come on, Demi! You know how much I love your voice. Will you please sing for me?"
I sigh as I throw off the covers and shake my head as I find Isabella looking at me with the most adorable pout. God, this woman can get me to do anything she wants when she looks at me like that. I smile softly as I kiss her and say, “Okay, amore mio. I will sing, but only for you.”
I’m rewarded with one of Isa’s bright smiles as she squeals and jumps out of bed to get dressed. I quickly do the same before taking her hand and walking to the game room together.
Carlisle - CPOV
I smile as I look at my family, while we wait for our flight to leave. The knowledge that Isabella is still alive completely healed our family. It has been a long time since I saw Jasper and Emmett goofing around so carefree, and my heart swells as I see the motherly love in Esme’s eyes as she looks at their antics. Even Rose looks happy as she points out dresses in the latest issue of Vogue that Alice is reading. I shake my head lovingly as their dress talk quickly shifts from commenting on the latest fashion trends to planning a shopping trip to New York before walking over to Esme and pulling her close. Esme giggles as I kiss the top of her head, and I sigh happily as she leans into me and says, “I never thought a trip to Volterra would make me the happiest mother on the face of the earth. Oh god, Carlisle, I’m so glad Isabella is okay. Did you see how much Demetri loves her? True love suits her, and I can’t think of anyone who deserves it more. I know you want her to be happy and loved, but I can't help but wonder. Are you upset that she decided to follow Demetri’s diet?”
Esme's question doesn't surprise me. She knows me better than anyone. I smile softly as I kiss her head again before saying, "I thought it would bother me more, but the woman we met today is not the girl we left behind all those months ago. Our daughter grew up, and I’m proud of the woman she has become. She didn’t decide to follow Demetri’s diet on a whim. I respect her decision, even when it goes against our beliefs.”
Esme hums as she leans into me, “I couldn’t agree more, Carlisle. She made me so proud today. I would have loved for her to join our family, but it is clear as day that Isabella belongs in Italy with Demetri. Isabella Volturi, it does have a nice ring to it.”
Esme smiles as she rests her head on my shoulder, and I find myself smiling as well as I say, “It sure does. It is wonderful to see how true love can change a man. I would have never thought of Demetri as a loving husband, but Isabella always seems to bring out the best in people. I wish them all the happiness in the world.”
A loud squeal from Alice interrupts our conversation, and Esme and I quickly make our way to where Alice is jumping up and down with joy. I raise my brow questioningly at Rose who quickly mouths ‘vision’ to us while Alice seems to be bursting with excitement. I snicker as she rolls her eyes at Jasper who is probably trying to calm her down while saying, “Calm down, darling. Your enthusiasm is drawing a lot of attention. Tell us what you saw.”
Alice’s smile is almost as bright as the sun as she yells, “Edward will find his mate in Ireland!”
Edward - EPOV
It’s raining as the plane touches down in Dublin. I sigh as I patiently wait until the plane reaches the dock before joining the stream of people making their way off the plane. I collect my bags before walking toward the waiting area, where someone from the Irish Coven is waiting to take me to their home. At least, that's what Santiago told me before I left Volterra. I smile softly as I watch families reunite and lovers fall into each other’s arms, and my thoughts immediately drift back to Isabella and the dreams I once had for us. Those dreams will never come true, and it is my damn fault. I deserve a punishment much harsher than the one I received, but maybe this way I can make amends somehow. I sigh. How long do I have to wait before finding the girl that completes me like Isabella completes Demetri?
“Edward Masen?”
I turn around when I hear a soft voice call out my name, and I find myself staring at the most beautiful girl in the whole world. The moment our eyes meet, the world comes to a standstill. It is as if gravity has shifted. I will be whatever she needs me to be. I will do anything to make her happy. Nothing else matters anymore but her, and with that thought, the realization hits me like a ton of bricks. Dear God, this gorgeous vampire is my mate. Who was I to minimize Isabella’s and Demetri’s feelings for each other? Fuck, I am such an idiot. The love I feel for this girl in front of me is already all-consuming, and it fills my body with warmth and happiness. There is nothing that will ever compare to this feeling. I softly nod my head as I smile at her and say, “Yes, I’m Edward Masen. May I ask what your name is, milady?”
I swear my dead heart almost starts beating again as I hear her giggle, and I just know she would be blushing if she were human. Her thoughts reach me before her words do, and I feel a jolt of happiness flow through me as I hear, “How can I love him already? … Oh, dear God, he must be my mate… Oh my…, he’s so handsome…”
I smile as her thoughts fade away and she takes a step closer as she says, “I’m Maggie, and I’m part of the Irish coven. I came to escort you to our home. I hope you will enjoy your time with us.”
I nod as I reach out and slowly take her hand in mine. We both stare at our joined hands as we feel the band strengthening between us. I smile softly as I cup her cheek with my other hand before saying, “As long as I’m with you, my life will be perfect, my mate.”
Isabella - IPOV
I almost roll over laughing as I watch the strange look on Felix’s face as Heidi sings ‘Single Ladies’ better than Beyoncé does. She is putting on one hell of a show, and it seems he can’t decide between panic and lust, which results in a very freaky face. Man, she sure has some moves. I giggle as I decide to join Heidi on the impromptu stage to dance, and I smirk as Demetri's eyes darken every time I move my hips. I squeak as Demetri pulls me close when I return to my seat before purring in my ear, “I would love a repeat performance in our room later tonight, tesoro.”
I smile as I give him a passionate kiss, and I start to purr as his hands travel across my body. Demetri growls when Felix yells, “Cut it out, Demetri! There’s time for that later. God, you’re even worse than I am.”
Demetri huffs as he glares his way, but Heidi intervenes before he can respond, “Nobody is worse than you are, Felix. Why do you think Alec had his walls soundproofed centuries ago? Now leave them alone and pick a song.”
We all laugh as Heidi’s comment renders Felix kind of speechless, as he makes his way to the microphone while muttering some words, but they’re too quiet for us to understand. We all wait patiently for Felix to pick a song, and Jane and I let out a squeal as we recognize ‘Marry You’ by Bruno Mars. We turn to look at Felix and squeal even harder as we find him sitting on one knee with a ring in his hand, singing his heart out for Heidi.
Demetri smiles as he pulls me closer, and I sigh happily as I look at Heidi who is watching Felix perform with venom tears in her eyes and a blissful smile on her face. As the song ends, Felix clears his throat before saying, “Heidi, my love, it’s time I make an honest woman out of you. Will you marry me?”
I chuckle as I slowly shake my head at Felix’s choice of words while Jane rolls her eyes at him. Okay, so Felix isn’t the biggest romantic, but at least he’s trying. And most importantly, Heidi doesn’t seem to care. She is looking as if he just went out and brought her the moon. Hell, if it works for her, who are we to judge? We all laugh out loud as she says, “Oh Felix, I thought you would never ask! Yes, I’ll marry you.”
Felix is smiling like a madman as he lifts Heidi in the air and spins her around before kissing her passionately. I can see a smug look on Demetri's face as he says, “Cut it out, Felix! If I can’t kiss my wife without someone commenting on it, you can’t either. Now move over, and let someone else sing.”
Demetri laughs loudly as Felix flips him off after letting Heidi down. Heidi is beaming as she joins me on the couch and flashes her ring in front of my face. I smile widely as I hug her and say, “I’m so happy for you, Heidi. It was about time he manned up.” I giggle as Felix gives me an offended look while Alec makes his way to the karaoke machine to pick a song. I watch in awe as he delivers a version of ‘Despacito’ that would make a lot of women swoon. Jane’s performance is even better as she sings my favorite Taylor Swift song. Man, she would turn a lot of male heads if she were to sing that in public. I hope the twins will have the luck of finding their mates soon. They deserve this kind of happiness and love too.
I’m pulled from my reveries as Heidi and Jane start pushing me toward the stage. I groan as I realize I’m not getting out of this one. I bite my lower lip as I go through the list of songs and smile as I find the perfect song to express my love for Demetri. My eyes don't leave his as I sing ‘Love Me Like You Do’ by Ellie Goulding. God, I love him so much. The moment the song ends, Demetri rushes toward me, and I giggle as he kisses me passionately before saying, “I love you so much, tesoro. Now, I believe I promised you a song. Did I not?”
I don’t even get time to react as he lifts me and puts me in a chair in front of the stage before walking over to the karaoke machine and selecting a song. He smiles as the first notes fill the room, and I recognize the song instantly. I smile as our eyes lock when Demetri starts singing, and everything around us fades away. The lyrics almost make my dead heart beat again, and I fall in love with my Demi all over again.

Demetri - DPOV
I don’t even notice the others leaving the game room. The moment I start singing to my Isa, everything else becomes insignificant. She is all that matters to me, my beautiful Isabella, my true love. I smile softly as I slowly move toward her while I’m singing. It’s like an invisible force is pulling me to her. I cup her cheek with my hand as I reach the end of the song and lean in to kiss her with all the love I feel inside. I pull back to look into her beautiful crimson-red eyes as I say, “I love you with all my heart, Isa, for eternity.”
“You’re everything I ever wanted, Demi. I love you so much.”
I smile softly as I take her by the hand and silently thank the gods for sending me to Forks and letting me find my whole world lying on a forest floor before leading her back to our room.
