Midoriya's wrists burned as he yanked open the door. Bolts chimed as they fell onto the concrete floor.
Power coursed through his arms, One for All resurfacing in menacing anger.
He storms out of the room, escaping guilty eyes and dangling cuffs.
"Hey! Wait, come back!" the detective's voice called out, chair crashing down.
Midoriya ignores him, running out of the building and into the rain. Tears fall alongside them.
How could he, after everything Midoriya's strived to be? His chest throbbed in agony. He kept on running.
How could he think that of him?
"Why, Aizawa-sensei?"
"Why a traitor?"
