Yu Make Me Wanna...

Summary:

Rise doesn't like how nonchalant her Senpai is towards her advances, so she strives to fix that by getting him to blush.

Now, if only he'd actually do the thing that she wanted, which was to blush, instead of fighting back with advances of his own!

Notes:

As promised, here's another YuRise fic that I cooked up. I told you guys that I was going to post another one this month, and I wasn't lying! See? Do I get some brownie points for that?

No? Okay, then. ._.

Anyway, this one is somewhat simple. Due to the fact that my previous YuRise fic that I posted earlier this month was trash, I decided to go a fluffier route.

Without further ado, let's get into it!

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

Sitting on couch, Rise sighed to herself as she glanced at a very neutral-looking Yu Narukami who was just sitting beside her, staring at the TV nonchalantly. He looked perfect, as usual, but his silent and blank gaze that was directed towards the television was slightly amusing to watch.

She loved it whenever she was with him; spending precious time with the man that she loves, even if it's something as simple as staring at a TV together. They would rarely have time to spare for each other, with Yu being busy with college while her music career was steady inclining upwards.

She had just came back from one of her most recent tours, which took her a few months to complete since she had to travel to various cities and places - including some overseas ones, now that she has been blowing up internationally - and all she wanted to do with her free time was just relax and chill with Yu.

But that wasn't what she was sighing about. Well, technically, it was what she was sighing about, but not the entire reason. You see, she has been living with Yu for quite some time now. She had to do a bunch of legal gymnastics so that she'd have the best privacy possible when she was trying to share an apartment with him, and it had somehow paid off.

Her fans and agency didn't know about it while her manager was extremely strict with her, but allowed it under a few conditions that she must meet. The conditions were hard for her to maintain, but she kept doing it for the sake of Yu. If her fans, her agency, or anybody else from the media found out about them, they'd be dead meat. He'd be an extra cooked piece of dead meat while she would be broiled to pure crisps.

What was she saying again? Oh, yes, the reason she was sighing. Now, it's not as if she hated living with Yu - She really loved it, to be honest - but there was one huge thing about him that gets on her nerves at times. Although he was usually always her same old Senpai, which is to say he was perfect, he could be a bit... well...

Alright, she was going to say it: Yu got on her nerves at times with his reaction to her. Or, rather, lack thereof.

A petty thing to be sighing about, right? I mean, you're surely thinking “oh well, that's just how he is! The dude never shows emotions to anyone!” and she wouldn't blame you for thinking so, but the thing is... SHE WAS HIS GIRLFRIEND! Why the heck is he, as a boyfriend, not showing her anything that she wants to see!?

And get your mind out of the gutters, alright? She hadn't seen him in that way... yet. She had seen his shirtless body before, and my, my, what a delightful eye candy that was, but... wait, what was she talking about again!?

Oh, yeah, his lack of reaction. She has been teasing him for a while now, and although he was somewhat responsive to them at first, he now had a look of neutrality every time she'd flirt with him, which was such an annoying thing to face everyday! It almost didn't matter what she would do, since his mere reply would be to just look at her with that soulless, blank, stare of his, before he looked away and did something else.

Ugh, just thinking about it made her irritated. She glanced the boy beside her - still no emotion, by the way - and pondered on how to make him react like how she wanted him to. It seems that her usual nonchalant flirtatious remarks didn't have any more effects on him, which meant that she had to step her game up.

She started to inch closer and closer to him, trying to see if he'd noticed or not. He didn't, so she just slowly repeated her movements, waiting for him to take notice of the fact that there was a young girl next to him, begging for his attention and embarrassed expressions. A bit more movement by her, and she checked to see if he paid attention or not.

If he noticed, he sure as hell didn't showed it to her, so she just straight up placed her hand behind the sofa and near his head as she got on her knees on the furniture, internally pleading for him to notice and blush. She started breathing slightly heavier next to him, finally making him look away from the TV as his gaze settled on her instead.

"...Senpai~" Rise sultrily whispered, putting on a seductive facade as she was silently wishing for him to splutter out in embarrassment.

She should've known that it would've backfired since as soon as she did that, he licked his lips in anticipation and leaned closer to her, prompting her to turn beet red as he closed his eyes and puckered up his lips. She froze in shock, not expecting this to have happened. No way was she ever prepared for this! This was supposed to make HIM blush, not her!

"Kyaaaah!" She yelped as she scrambled away from him and the couch, crawling on the floor before standing up on her two feet and running away to their room before slamming it shut.

She took deep breaths as her heart pounded against her chest, feeling her warm face slowly go back to their regular temperature as she gulped. What in the world had just happened!? That wasn't part of the plan, and now, she had just embarrassed herself in front of him while trying to make him blush. The girl could melt into a puddle right now, and she'd still feel the shame in her chest from the very obvious failed attempt of seduction.

She heard his laughter from outside of their room through the door and she pouted to herself, puffing her cheeks. She didn't know if he was laughing at the TV or her reaction, but what she did know was that he clearly wasn't affected by it at all! This won't do...

Ngh, I'll get you to blush, Senpai!

The next day, Rise went out of the bedroom in early morning as she realized that Yu wasn't in bed with her, and she started smelling the delicious scent of breakfast being cooked in the kitchen. Eggs and bacon seemed to be on the menu today, which was surprising for her, considering that Yu liked to cook Japanese dishes on most days, but she didn't mind. Some variety in life helped make things not as boring, she learned.

Yawning to herself, she went to get ready by cleaning herself up in the bathroom. A warm, steamy shower in the mornings always helped brighten up her mood, even if the weather wasn't fairing too well. Times like these, she could just relax and take care of herself, using as much shampoo as she wanted to, playing air guitar while she was supposed to be squeezing her hair, singing loudly by herself as she scrubbed her body - you get the picture.

After she was done, she got dressed by putting on a simple and plain white T-shirt, along with short jeans which reached up to only her thighs. She was, admittedly, a pretty small girl, so the jeans had looked somewhat oversized on her, but she liked the overall look of it. She thanked God that her tour was over and she didn't have to do any more work for quite some time. The days off that she spent with her Senpai brought her more joy than traveling to various countries could ever give her. No offense to her fans, of course.

When she was ready for a bright, new day, she stepped outside of the room and was greeted by a very interesting sight. Yu Narukami, in shorts and a white T-shirt which highlighted his muscular physique, and an apron over them. He was cooking up in the kitchen, and boy, oh, boy, did he looked good while doing so. It was kind of a funny sight, but the sexiness of it overwhelmed any comical feeling she may have had about it.

He scrambled the eggs precisely, taking extra care so that it wouldn't be burned or that some pieces may fly out of the pan. It cooked pretty fast, and he laid the eggs over the two plates which was already occupied by crispy bacon and some toast on the side. It seemed perfectly seasoned, and the succulence of the breakfast made her lick her lips in anticipation of getting ready to put those food in her stomach.

Suddenly, she realized that she was licking her lips and a sharp sense of embarrassment washed over her as she cringed at the memory of yesterday. She remembered Yu closing his eyes while licking his lips as he puckered up those kissers of his, prompting her to scramble like an egg as she folded like an omelette.

That wasn't a fun memory. It's made even worse when she remembered that she was the one who started it because she wanted to make him blush. That was alright, though, since she now had a new start, along with a new day. She could try to make him blush again during breakfast, and she surely will! Just needed him to not counter her advances, that's all...

She walked over towards the main man himself as he was busy placing down the pan and spatula in the dishwasher, wrapping her arms around his buff body as he stiffened for a brief moment before relaxing as he realized that it was just her. He started cleaning up the stove and counter as he talked to her.

"Hello, Rise."

"Mmh... good morning, Senpai..." She said, voice muffled as she pressed her face against his back.

"Breakfast is served already." He said as he finished wiping up the counter. "You can take a seat and start eating, I'll be there in a second."

Rise thought about it. "Mmm, nah..." She replied as her grip on him tightened, though, he probably didn't feel much of her strength. "...I'd rather you come with me to the table; that way, we can start eating together."

He chuckled. "Alright, let's go."

The silver haired boy turned around and ruffled her hair for a bit before they both moved to the table, taking their respective seats. She thanked him for the food first before she started munching on it. As expected, it was delicious, and the toast on the side meant that she could make her own bacon and eggs sandwich if she wanted to. Her Senpai just knew how to make the most out of food, she guessed. That was surely one of the main signs of a future great househusband, if she had to say so herself.

"How is it?" He asked, eating his food slowly with manners that had been instilled in him from a very young and early age.

Meanwhile, she unashamedly ate like a slob. "Itsh vueryy goofd, thanksh!"

"...Heh, what?"

She chewed first before swallowing. "...I said it's very good, thanks!"

"You're welcome." He replied, resuming to eat his food as he took slow bites of the bacon.

Yu was simply gifted with the art of cooking, and he knew it. He felt a surge of pride within him as he watched his girlfriend ate his food with enthusiasm that would only appear whenever she was with him. She was always cheerful and bright, even on regular days, but there was a distinct aura around her that made her glow even further whenever she was around him. This wasn't him being conceited, by the way; it was simply just him making an observation.

His silver eyes paid attention to the girl in front of him and he noticed that there were some crumbs of toast near the corner of her lips. Without thinking, he reached over towards her and wiped her lips with his thumb; making the girl drop her fork as she widened her eyes from what he just did. He showed his thumb to her to explain what he was doing as the girl nodded in understanding, turning away to blush in silence.

Yu didn't mean to make her embarrassed, but her blushing face was honestly very cute to see. He didn't knew what exactly she was trying to attempt or even achieve yesterday, but he was more than prepared to reciprocate her gesture at that moment. Her seductive whisper had sent shivers down his spine and made him react in a way that she didn't expected him to.

"Um, hey, Senpai, try this!" She took him out of his thoughts as he looked towards her and saw that she had made her own sandwich with the food that was on her plate. It looked good, and he was sure that she had used some sauces so that it'd be more appetizing. "I think it tastes amazing, so I want you to try it."

"Alright, then." He nods. "Give it to me."

"Nope!" She shook her head, twin tails flying about. "Say 'aaaah!'"

Yu chuckled, but obliged and opened his mouth. Leaning forward again, Rise slowly drove her hand that held the sandwich into his mouth and tapped his lower lip to tell him to chew. He did as he was told and tasted a variety of food that had been mixed to form one ultimate food: the sandwich. It tasted great, and she had a wide grin on her face, as if she was expecting a reaction or so. Well, he didn't know what she wanted him to say, so he'll just be blunt with her.

"It tastes great."

She rolled her eyes. "Of course you'd say that, it's your own cooking!"

He shook his head. "No, I meant that your combination was great. Really brought out all the flavors when you combined them all together with the sauce." The boy didn't even know what he was talking about, or who he was trying to convince, but it wasn't fooling her.

"Well, yeah, but at the end of the day, it's still your food that you cooked by your own two hands..."

Yu glanced down at his plate and saw his bacon untouched and crisped to perfection. He looked over towards her plate and saw that it was already finished, and although she seemed to be full already, he wanted to repay the favor that she had done for him. He briefly wondered if he should use utensils or not, but decided against it and took the piece of bacon with his bare hand. He leaned forward again as the girl raised an eyebrow at what he was doing before she widened her eyes in realization.

"Open your mouth, now!" He grinned. "Say 'aaah!'"

"W-Wait, I—!"

Too late; the piece of bacon was already nearing her lips and she had to open up her mouth to accept the food. She would describe how good it tasted, if it wasn't for the fact that his fingers were directly on her lips - straight up caressing her lips - and he was winking at her as he fed her his piece of meat. She wasn't a huge meat lover, but she was now in love with meat. His meat, to be exact.

"Does it taste good, or...?"

She slowly chewed with her eyes still wide open, looking absolutely meek as she swallowed down the piece of bacon. His gaze was intense and she couldn't help the pounding feeling in her chest again as she looked away from him, face atomic red while she opted to stare at a white, blank wall.

"...I-It's good..."

That was all that she said, and he was more than happy with that response as he began to get ready to clean up the plates and table.

The girl wouldn't look at him in the eyes for the next few hours, much to his confusion.

Rise laid in bed as she stared at the ceiling above her, seeing a faint hint of light shining up above her through the curtained windows. It was some sort of ethereal light - the type where you could swear it came from the moon itself, but it just came from a streetlight - and she finds herself staring at it before going to bed.

She had been waiting for Yu to enter the room so that they could go to bed at the same time, but he was insistent on doing God-knows-what while he was outside there before going to bed. Maybe he was studying or something, who knows.

The girl had been thinking about what ways she could make Yu flustered and blush up a storm, but so far, nothing has came to her mind. They had done nothing worth mentioning today, which meant that another day had passed by them. She didn't like to think about it, but the faster the days go by when she was with Yu, the faster it meant for her to have to return back to her idol work. It was grimacing, but she'll have to come back eventually; she knows it within her heart.

Still, just because that day may be coming faster than she expected, it doesn't mean that she couldn't have some fun. She decided to make it a goal of hers to get Yu to blush at her before she had to went back to work. That may sound a bit too easy of a challenge to do when she still had at least a couple of weeks - maybe even months - left before she had to make her return, but if you knew how stoic Yu Narukami was, you'd cheer her on and encourage her, rather than judge.

She didn't know what exactly to do to make him blush, though, which was the problem. Getting closer to him wouldn't work since he immediately thought she was trying to kiss him and happily reciprocated. Feeding him and tapping his lip with her finger also didn't work because he just replied with the same tactic, only that it made her blush instead. Her boyfriend sure was one tough cookie to crack, but she'll get there eventually.

Sighing to herself, she scratched her head as she sat up and stretched a bit, extending the shirt she was wearing a bit higher. Suddenly, a light bulb appeared over her head as she thought a bright idea to get her Senpai's cheeks to turn red. And it wasn't from spankings. No, this time, she couldn't help but grinned as she thought of the plan and decided it'd be best to do it as soon as possible.

She rolled up her shirt until it got all the way to her mid-section, showing her bellybutton and flawless skin on her stomach. Then, she unbuttoned her short jeans and slightly lowered it, giving a glimpse of her hips as left it be right there. A giggle escaped her lips as she removed the covers from her body and just laid on the bed, spread out like an eagle while waiting for her boyfriend.

He wouldn't expect this! He'd definitely blush up a storm over this, she just knew it! There was no way in a hundred years that he would just ignore how she had made herself as open and seductive as she just did and not even bother glancing at her. Now, all she had to do was just wait for him to enter, and boom! Mission accomplished!

She laid there eagerly as she waited for her boyfriend to arrive. Surprisingly, it didn't take long for the aforementioned partner to arrive as he just casually entered the room, still wearing the white shirt from the earlier morning. He went past the bed and looked outside the window, staring at the outside world.

Rise cleared her throat. "...Hello, Senpai~"

He didn't looked back at her. "Hello, Rise. Still not asleep, yet?"

Wow, didn't even bothered looking at her. She pursed her lips and replied. "No, I was waiting for you~" She said as he nodded; still not looking at her. "Where have you been? What have you been doing outside, Senpai?~"

"Studying."

Huh, so she was right, after all.

She fluttered her eyelashes, though, he couldn't see it since he was to enamored with looking outside the window. "Well, come and sleep with me... I'm sure you're tired and all, Senpai~" She prodded again.

He nods. "Alright, I will."

She internally cheered, but her celebration turned upside down when he turned and saw her. He didn't looked flustered - didn't even blushed at her - and he casually kept his gaze away from her before laying down on the bed, getting ready to close his eyes. Her mouth was agape from his lack of reaction and she wanted to scream loudly until he suddenly breathed out heavily and stood up again for a brief moment.

"Oof, it's a bit hot in here." He said. "I'm sure that I raised the air conditioner's temperature earlier before I left the room..." Without a single warning, he took off his shirt and just threw it in the laundry basket near the corner of the room while she had suffered a mental shutdown from what she was seeing.

His muscular physique looked well-sculpted, as if he had been a trained warrior that somehow never received a single scratch on his body. The light from the outside illuminated against his smooth, pale, flawless skin as it showed off his rippling abs and well-defined muscles, gained by training endlessly from their previous adventures in the TV world, and from maintaining his gym membership.

"E-EEEEHHHH!?" She screeched.

As if he was messing around with her, he didn't acknowledged her yell of terror from her ruined plans as he laid down in bed again; this time, scooting closer to her as his buff biceps more or less shadowed her entire body. Her face was super-duper red, and she honestly wanted the covers again. Alas, she couldn't get what she wanted as he just decided to fall asleep right there and then.

The girl was as still as a statue, not moving as her face heat up from having her hunk of a boyfriend sleep shirtless next to her. Her entire circumstance was made even worse as he rolled over and laid his body nearly on top of her, smothering her with his much bigger body while she felt as if she was going to faint from the lack of blood in her circulation.

Needless to say, she didn't get too much sleep that night.

The following day, after another failed attempt at making her boyfriend blush, Rise decided to try and make the most out of her remaining time left with Yu. She didn't know why she's in such a rush, especially when she was sure that she still had quite a bit of time left to spend with him, but, hey, don't judge her, alright?

She decided that a walk in the park near their apartment complex would be a decent way to spend some time with her hubby— uh, um, boyfriend. He seemed to agree, so they embarked on a grand adventure to the park down the street which was five minutes away from them. Very tiring journey, she knows.

Since she couldn't go out without being immediately recognized, she had to dress up in a pretty... inconspicuous way. A huge bubble vest, a hoodie beneath, sunglasses, a disposable face mask, some long jeans which went past her ankles, and some black boots.

Yeah, she looked as if she was a public threat to everybody near the vicinity of the park, but she couldn't risk getting caught with Yu and have everything flushed down the drain like it was for nothing.

Then again, she probably shouldn't be dressing like a wanted criminal and potentially get questioned by the local police officers in their patrol cars, but whatever.

It was already afternoon, and the sun was burning her up. Like, more than usual. She'd usually be able to tolerate such heat, but her choices of clothing didn't make things better for her body since she was melting like a snowman on top of a BBQ grill on the inside.

Since she looked as if she was a potential danger to everybody, most decided to steer clear away from her, which was honestly refreshing for her. The downside of it was that it meant random girls could just jump at the opportunity to flirt with her boyfriend as she seethed on the inside.

Thankfully, since Yu was a good boyfriend, he respectfully denied their advances and moved her to one of the vacant benches. Those girls were lucky that the empty seats were holding her back! Otherwise, they would've regretted going to the park that day.

They sat down together, and immediately, Rise felt stupid. She didn't even know what the point of dressing up like this was when she was still going to be stared at anyway. If she had went out with her usual style of clothes, she'd be recognized immediately and their date would be cut extremely short. If she dressed up like she was going to cause the government some havoc, she was still going to be stared at regardless.

Yu, as cool as usual, didn't look affected by the creeped out stares that he, along with her, was receiving. Most girls were just looking at him with hearts in their eyes while everybody else looked at her as if she was going to start a major public disturbance. Ugh, she can't win in life, can she?

"Hey, uh..." Yu started before trailing off, prompting her to look at her. "...Um, Rin, would you like some ice cream?" He asked, a sheepish grin on his face.

Ah, so he was using her alias so that she wouldn't be caught out in public. Good idea. She didn't know why she didn't even mentioned it to him before they went out. Probably cause she was too busy thinking about how stupid she looked in her current outfit.

"Um, yes, please."

He nods. "Stay here, I'll be back in a sec."

"W-Wait!" She reached and grabbed a hold of his hand as he stood up, making him turn to look at her. "I-I... uh, can I follow you?"

"Huh?"

"Um, I, uh... I'd like to follow you, p-please." She replied, looking into his eyes with her sunglasses-covered eyes. "I'd like to pick out the ice cream flavors myself."

"...Okay, then."

That was the easiest way to convince him that she had ever seen in her life. The undercover girl slowly stood up and placed her hand inside of his, drawing the ire of the many girls who had been looking at Yu as if he was eye candy. Well, that was a tiny victory for her, at least.

A few short - yet awkward - minutes later, and they were right at the ice cream vendor's store. It was a stall with a short sign attached to the cart that had read out 'Ice Cream!' as a way to promote the business. It was fairly simple, and she liked it well enough.

"Welcome! What can I get you?" The Ice Cream Man greeted.

"You can pick the flavors." Yu said to her, pointing to the cart.

She nodded, albeit hesitantly. "A-Alright, um..." Rise didn't have to take long, she knew what she wanted already. "...Caramel cookie dough, please."

"Quite an exotic and rare flavor, Miss, but a grand taste." He nodded in approval before looking at Yu. "And for you, my good sir?"

"Oh, no need." Yu replied. "We're sharing the ice cream."

We're WHAT!?

"Eh!?" She brilliantly yelped.

"I see." The ice cream man nods. "One caramel cookie dough coming right up!"

Before she could ask Yu what he was doing, she saw a sudden burst of speed from the ice cream man as his hands shifted as fast as possible. Right before she knew it, a singular ice cream cone with the flavor that she had asked for was filled at the top, ready to be served to her.

"Here you go!" He cheered. "Enjoy the ice cream, please!" The man handed it over to her as she took it.

She nearly replied with 'you too,' but was thankfully saved by her boyfriend who had thanked the man and paid him before pulling her away; guiding her towards their originally vacant bench. She sat down slowly and awkwardly while he stood for a bit, looking at her.

"Uh...?" Rise began, ice cream in hand as she looked at it incredulously. "...Senpai? What's the meani—"

"I wanted to share some ice cream with you." He replied almost immediately as he sat down next to her. "I've been seeing these couples share their ice cream together lately, so I wanted to see how it felt like."

"Y-You could've just told me, you know..."

Yu shrugged nonchalantly. "Yeah, true." He admitted easily, which she was surprised about. She thought he would've had something else to say, but she would never know since he started speaking again. "Let's get to licking, shall we?"

"W-Wait!"

She instinctively held the frozen treat in her hand up high as some sort of protection. He leaned closer and started licking the frozen delight in a very sensuous manner. His tongue grazed the cream slowly and gently, making her blush at the sight as he swiped away at the ice cream with his tongue like it was nobody's business.

"Why are you not licking?"

"...I-I have a face mask on."

"Just take it off and look at me." He said as she looked at him. "If you're worried about anybody nosy, then just look at my direction."

She stayed silent while holding the ice cream in place. If anybody didn't know better, they would've thought that she was a statue that could hold ice cream for days, but their thoughts would be wrong as she would move after some time and slowly, but surely, lick away at the ice cream as he grinned in satisfaction.

"There you go!" The silver haired boy happily chirped. "Now we can do it together." Yu began to repeat what he was doing as she turned completely beet red from what was happening.

She now couldn't have been more thankful that she wore this extremely highly suspicious looking outfit, since it actually covered most of her facial expression. If she was in her usual outfit, they would've seen how completely red she was in the face as she wanted to curl into a ball, toss and turn for a bit, before covering her head out of embarrassment.

This wasn't even supposed to happen! She didn't even plan to get him to blush again today, yet he still managed to turn the tables around on her without even trying!

After a few more seconds, she completely stopped licking the ice cream as she turned the opposite way from the silver haired boy, much to his confusion. He kept on licking, but she wouldn't look in his direction again for the remainder of the ice cream left.

Rise had turned into an ice cream holder while Yu finished her ice cream silently, not even sure why she had suddenly shut down.

The day after that, they spent some time playing a board game, with a little twist. Every time someone loses, they'd have to tell a secret of their own. Now, she was an admittedly pretty open girl, so she didn't have too much to hide from the people that she loved, but there was still a few things that she kept to herself.

Yu clicked his tongue in victory. "Well, I won this round." He pointed towards the board as she closed her eyes in defeat. "Now, tell me, what's your... um, secret?"

Rise raised an eyebrow. "Senpai, you're supposed to ask me a clearer question."

"Look, don't blame me, alright? I don't even know how this game works..."

She chuckled. "Well, at least make the question less vague, please?"

He nods. "Alright, so... um..." The silver haired boy scratched his head in confusion, wondering what he should ask her. "...Tell me who's your closest friend in our group?"

"Was that a question? Or are you questioning yourself if you wanted to ask that question?"

"I..." He trailed off before shaking his head. "...Just answer it, please?"

She couldn't contain her giggle. "Alright, fine, I'll cut you some slack." The Idol cracked her fingers together as she stretched. "If I had to say, I'd probably pick Naoto-kun."

"Really?" It looked as if he was expecting that, but he was still surprised she said it.

"Yep."

"Not Yosuke or Kanji? Not Yukiko or Chie? Teddie? None of them?"

She rolled her eyes. "Yosuke-senpai and Kanji-kun is yours, Senpai." The girl teased, to which he also replicated her gesture. "Though, Kanji-kun isn't too bad. Yukiko and Chie I'm pretty close with, while Teddie is... well, Teddie."

He nods in agreement. "Fair enough."

Another round of a random board game they found in their closet ensued, and she couldn't help but secretly be grateful that their days off were directly compatible with each other. Since he was taking a break from college and she had just finished her tour, they've done nothing but spend their free time with each other. She was very thankful and appreciative of it, of course, but she kind of wondered whether or not he wanted to do something else than just hang out with her.

She remembered that Nanako was also having a break from school. She felt guilty for hogging up Yu all to herself when Nanako was probably waiting for him to come and visit her. She should probably take him back to Inaba for around a week or so, so that Nanako would have a good time instead of just wasting her precious free time carelessly.

Before she knew it, she was the victor, while he was the loser. She wasn't even paying attention to the board, having spent more time in her head than on the game, but she'd take the win anytime of the day.

"Oh, dear." Yu said, knowing that she was going to ask something foul.

"Relax, Senpai, I'm not a pervert or a nosy person." She jokingly said, though she kind of wondered if he was worried that she'd ask a question that's too personal. "You're acting as if you've really just been defeated or something."

He nods in agreement. "There are worse fates, I suppose."

Rise pointed a finger at him. "You're darn right, there is!" She chuckled as she prepared her question, pondering on what she should ask him.

"Well, hit me with your best shot." He poked his chest with his thumb, as if challenging her.

She raised an eyebrow. "Did you just referenced a song?"

"I think I just referenced a song, yes."

The Idol began to think about what would be a decent question to ask him. Although he wasn't super secretive with her, there were times where even simple things such as his favorite color was a mystery to her. She didn't know if that made her a bad girlfriend, or if that made him a hard person to figure out, but neither sounded good in her head so she just wiped it away.

"...What are you most curious about?"

He thought about it carefully. "...Curious?"

She nods. "Yeah, curious." Yu still didn't looked too sure on what she was saying, so she continued. "Do you have any thing in mind that you want to get to know more? Maybe it could be a person, a band that you liked, a subject that you find hard to ace - you know, the usual."

He rubbed his chin with his hand, looking away from her for a bit as he hummed to himself. He seemed as if he was really thinking about it; though, he made up his mind pretty fast as he snapped his fingers to her question.

"I got it!"

Rise smiled. "Alright, so tell me!"

"....." He looked at her for a moment before he grinned. "....It's you."

She blinked. "...Huh...?"

His grin widened. "It's you, Rise. I find you very interesting, and I want to know you more."

A tinge of red painted across her cheeks. "B-But... you already know me."

He shook his head. "Not quite enough, I don't think." The boy's silver eyes shifted to one of sincerity as he looked at her. "You're an enigma to me, Rise, and I genuinely do want to get to know every part of you. It may take me years, or maybe even forever, but I'm willing to give it a try. I'll give it my best especially, to get to know you." He finished as her mouth was agape.

That entire moment had rendered her speechless. As she laid there on her stomach on the floor, with a pillow supporting her chest while she looked at the silver haired boy, she thought about every single word that he had just said to her, and what it meant. From what she could've gathered before her mind shut down due to the extremely high levels of heart-pounding feeling in her chest, he was telling her that she was the most interesting thing that he had ever seen or met.

Yeah, her. Not his group of friends, not Nanako, not that stupid asswipe Adachi, not even the TV world and the wild adventures that they've been through inside of there - it was her. She didn't know what to say, think, or even feel about such revelation, but she knew she had to reply with something.

".....T-Thanks...." She said before looking away, staring at the wall again.

He smiled and nodded, before going to reset the game again. He didn't noticed it, but the girl's cheeks had now turned into the definition of the color red. Seriously, if you picked up a dictionary and looked at the word 'red,' don't be surprised to see her face right next to it as the literal definition.

They played a few more rounds after that, but she vividly remembered that one round the most.

Rise stood in the shower as she scrubbed every part of her body relentlessly, puffing her cheeks while thinking about a certain muscular silver haired boy who had been plaguing her mind for the past week. She didn't even noticed that she had used up almost half of her shampoo because she was too busy thinking about him.

"Ugh! Nothing ever works on that guy! Stupid Senpai..."

Yeah, she was still thinking of ways to get him to blush. Ever since he had gave her that revelation yesterday about her being the most interesting person in his life, she couldn't stop thinking about it. She knew that she should probably slow down a little, but it had managed to get under her skin, due to how easily he had said it while she was completely shocked at his words.

Seriously, nothing worked on that guy. Pretending to kiss him didn't worked, feeding him with her bare hands didn't worked, seducing him by showing off some skin had done nothing, taking him to the park made him go on the offense and start making her blush, and playing board games with him made her anxious and obsessed with what he had said about her!

What was she going to do? If she came back to her work without making him blush a single time, that'd be considered a grand epic failure for her and she might as well retire at the spot. Well, okay, maybe not THAT serious, but she'll definitely do something she'll regret if she didn't get to do what she wanted to do!

"Damn it! Water's turned cold..." Rise sighed in defeat. "Gotta get out now... can't even enjoy my shower in peace..."

She stepped outside the bath and got herself a towel before drying herself off as fast as she could. She needed to think, and the best way to think was on a full stomach. Well, actually, more like in her bedroom, but she didn't care which came first, damn it!

The Idol wrapped the towel around her body and took another towel to dry her hair. She looked at her reflection in the steamy mirror and saw a girl that was too close to giving up - but she wouldn't! Not until she got him to blush!

Suddenly, a shift of footsteps came from the bathroom's door and it was opened immediately by none other than Yu Narukami. He didn't seemed to pay attention on whether or not the bathroom was occupied, but she also couldn't blame him fully since she hadn't locked the door herself.

"Hey, I think I left my phone here. I think it was..."

His words stopped immediately as soon as he saw her in nothing but a towel, with steamy clouds from the water giving off an even better picture of her. His tongue was tied, and he couldn't stop staring at her body while she just stood there before a grin graced her face, an idea popped in her head.

She really hoped this idea worked, otherwise, she'd be back to square one with nothing else to use as a potential power move. She was going to do it right in front of him, and hope to God that he reacted the same way she wanted him to. If he didn't, then she'd just be completely dejected for probably the entire year.

Using both of her hands, she pulled away at her towel on her body as it dropped down to the floor; exposing her figure as she placed her hands on her hips, waiting for his reaction. She couldn't admit it right there, but she was completely and utterly nervous, but a sudden surge of courage and completely convinced her to do what she just did, and she could only hope that it worked out.

As soon as she dropped down the towel, his eyes widened and she could see a tinge of red on his face. And then, his entire face turned red as the color spread throughout his whole head, turning him from pale white to beet red. A tiny droplet of blood ran down his nose and she realized that he was having a nosebleed from seeing her bare body. As she finally got her reaction, she grinned widely while celebrating in her head.

Mission accomplished!
