Journal Entry 1
“It was supposed to be a normal day. I was supposed to go on another adventure with Sonic, like we always do, but he's been ignoring me for a while. Now that I think about it, almost everyone involved with that has been ignoring me. It's probably because of what he did.” *Sigh* “I miss hanging out with them, but I'm sure their just adjusting to having 3 more people's lives shoved into their bodies, heck, I'm still trying to get use to it”
February 21 20XX
“Welp, I've been working on inventions for the last week and 3 days, it's rough, when I try to go to sleep, I dream about them. It feels weird, but awfully familiar in a way, I'll figure it out soon.” *Tails gets up for the first time in a while and stretches, then makes himself a cup of mint tea* “I've seen Sonic and Amy a few times when I looked outside my window, they just wave at me, it's nice and all, but I wish they would talk to me more.”
February 22 20XX
“Today has been quite the day, I've now seen something unusual, my ‘Alternate Versions’ have started appearing again in my dreams, but their in my lab this time, It's kinda cool, they don't talk much in my dreams, but I'll see what happens soo-” *Tails writing gets cut off by a loud CRASH and an unfamiliar voice. “Mangey! Get back over here!” SIP Tails goes to investigate*
“Sonic, Am-”
*Tails says a tired voice*
“LOOK OUT!”
*Tails ears perk up in response to the warning, he sprints over to the light switch and turns it on*
*The room falls silent, a loud silence*
“So, who are you guys?” *Tails inquired*
“So, I'm Sails, that's Nine and that's Mangey”
*Sails points to the other 2 figures in the room, Nine could be seen holding a juice box, a “Simple Thing” that Tails liked oh so much*
“So, you guys are me?” *Tails asked*
“I would assume, all of us have the same features, but we look different, the way we talk, walk, that kind of stuff.” * Nine stated*
“Mm, so I guess you 3 are kinda like ghosts that can appear and reappear?”
“I would assume so, nice lab by the way”
*Sails stated*
“Thanks” *Tails said, letting out a yawn after*
*After the interaction, the room grows silent*
COUGH
“May I ask, where is Sonic?” *Sails asked*
*Something in Tails caught onto that question, it's true, he truly didn't know where Sonic, let alone the other's whereabouts after the Shatterspace incident, he didn't even send him a text over the days, he knows that the others want to distance themselves from him, he knew the reason why, but he just misses them, his family, his brother, Sonic had been there for him for what feels like forever, but now, he's gone, he probably has been hanging out with Shadow and the others, fighting Dr. Eggman, just doing things, without him*
“Tails, are you okay?” *Tails was pulled out of his mind fleeting with questions*
“I…just miss him” *Tails said, ears pressing his head*
“I'm sorry to bring out such a sensitive topic all of a sudden” *Sails said, clearly empathetic for Tails*
“It's cool, I'm gonna be in my workshop if any of you need me…” *Tails said*
*Sails nodded*
SIP
“Ya think he has any other juice boxes left?” *Nine asked Sails*
