Inside the Todoroki Household a fire burned as the family, and two honorary additions, waged a war of words against the number one hero Endeavor. A man who had a recent change of heart but who had many mistakes to make amends for.
Outside a different, but very similar, war waged. A battle of will and a test of patience. Aizawa Shouta had seen a cat without a collar in the street and he would be taking her home. No matter the cost. With one hand outstretched, the underground hero stared at the hissing black cat with a fire in his eye and began to plan.
The cat-Soba, named after Shouto Todorki's favorite food- obviously didn't trust humans if the hissing was anything to go buy but she wasn't aggressive. She hadn't lunged at him or tried to bite him so perhaps it had been fed by others in the past. He may have some cat treats in his car. All he'd have to do is turn ariund and open the door to grab the bag then he could gain her trust. But the movement might star5tle her so that was a no go. Perhaps a direct approach would be best, a slow and steady pace as he walked over to her may giver her enough reassurance for her to stay still just long enough for him to grab onto the still hissing cat.
No, that was just asking for her to run.
...But he also had no other ideas so it would have to do. He took a step forward. Before he could get far, however, Soba jumped onto him and began her attack.
As Shouta fell backwards onto the pavement, cat clawing at his face, he made a mental note. 'Soba is territorial.'
"Mr. Aizawa, what happened to your face?!" Midoriya shouted in worry as he climbed into his homeroom teachers car and got a good look at the man's bloody face.
The man grunted, ignoring the sting of his wounds.
"Had to put someone in jail."
He'd have to teach a class on situational awareness because Shouta had no idea how his three students could miss the sounds of the very angry and very vocal cat in the seat next to him. The carrier wasn't sound proof and it wasn't very small either. That would mean more work for him though and that effort could be going towards the care of Soba.
Hmm... he'd let it slide. Just this once.
