   Summary

   Being alone is not so bad. It's when the loneliness kicks in that you realise how scared you are. You try to fill the void with all the friends you can find, but nothing seems to do the trick. And then, only then, do you become truly Alone.

   The Doctor was the last of his race. He filled the void with adventures and friends but it never truly worked. And then she came along. The wise girl with dwindling faith and an impossible quest, one of the few people who truly understood what it was like to be Alone.
