It hadn’t been there at first. Hiccup swore it hadn’t. Yes, everyone had warned him about it, but surely they’d all been lying, right? They had other reasons to hate Viggo, given that he was from a rival tribe, so making things up wouldn’t be out of the question.
But now Hiccup could see what they’d all warned him about: that darkness inside Viggo that everyone had been able to see but him. Gods, he felt so stupid! Why hadn’t he just listened?!
“You know, Hiccup, my dear,” Viggo started, leaning one arm against the tree, dangling it over his head, “you look quite good like this.”
“Let me go.” Hiccup’s voice was strong, almost a snarl. He couldn’t budge himself at all in the grasp of Viggo’s magic. His arms were pinned up by his head, his feet dangling above the ground.
“No, darling, I don’t think I will.”
“Why? Why reveal yourself now? W-why toy with me?”
“Well, you are the most beautiful faerie I’ve ever met.” Viggo smiled at him like one would their fancy dinner. “Playing with you has been… delicious.”
“Y-you gave me lessons and taught me magic,” Hiccup said, trying desperately to understand. “If.. If I could get free I could fight you. What was the point?”
“Am I not allowed to play games?”
“Not with people!”
Viggo laughed, drew back with a flap of his wings. The magic surrounding Hiccup and keeping him in place was red like those wings. Viggo’s magic had never been red before.
“Oh, but that’s all I really do,” Viggo said. He shook his head, smiling, reminiscing. “The deals I’ve made with some humans. You’d be surprised what kinds of things they want.”
Hiccup narrowed his eyes. “I think I know what they want, but not you. Why am I here?”
Viggo came close again. One hand was still holding Hiccup in the grasp of his magic. The other, he placed beside his head on the tree. Hiccup got the unnerving feeling that he wanted to kiss him.
“Well, I saw you one day,” Viggo began, voice low, like he was trying to seduce him. Hiccup quickly told himself that wouldn’t work, but as he kept talking, he felt his blood pumping hot through him.
“It was at a meeting with two tribes, yours and the Berserkers, and I happened to be nearby. Caught sight of you and couldn’t get you out of my mind.”
“It can’t just be my looks you’re into,” Hiccup sneered. People had fallen for him before, some because of his looks, but Hiccup didn’t see it. Besides, Viggo wasn’t that shallow.
“They do help,” Viggo responded, drawing a thumb over Hiccup’s chin. “But… I heard you speak. Your words were… the cleverest I’ve heard in some time. You’re intelligent, Hiccup. Maybe as intelligent as me.”
Hiccup certainly didn’t feel intelligent, caught in this situation like this. If he’d been intelligent he would have noticed something was off and would have listened to his friends and his elders.
“Oh, but you must feel so idiotic right now,” Viggo said, smiling with his teeth. He leaned in, close to Hiccup’s lips. “My apologies.”
Hiccup tried to bite Viggo before he could see it coming. However, he must have, because he was able to draw away in the nick of time. Hiccup’s teeth clacked together on nothing, and he simmered inside. If he could just get free of this magic!
He struggled in it, twisting his head, trying to flap his wings, move his arms, his legs. But that was all he could do. Only his head was free to move.
“You know, struggling only makes this more fun for me,” Viggo said.
There was some strain in his voice, as if Hiccup was strong enough to break his concentration and the hold he had over him. Maybe if he kept fighting…
Hiccup gave a cry as the feeling of pleasure suddenly entered his body, and all his struggling ceased. It was in his stomach, his groin, trickling through his nerves to his fingers and toes.
“Wh-what?” Hiccup asked, confused. Viggo wasn’t touching him at all.
“Ah, yes, haven’t taught you this trick yet,” Viggo said. “It’s quite handy. I discovered how to manipulate the nerves in the body to give whatever sensation I want. Pleasure... ”
As he said it, the pleasure increased, and it felt like someone was grabbing his cock. Hiccup squirmed and gasped.
“ Pain… ”
Heat flared through him, burning, like someone had taken fire to his nerves. Hiccup screamed, and hung his head when it was over. It had been brief, maybe only more than a second, but he hadn’t felt anything like that before.
“Let… let me go.”
“Only after I ascertain your full support as my student.”
Hiccup snorted, looked up at him through tears that he was ashamed of.
“And why would I do that?”
“Because I’ll keep you begging for more.” Viggo’s voice was sultry. He was close to his face again, but being careful, not within biting range. “You’ll want no one other than me.”
Hiccup didn’t want to admit that he’d, well, fancied Viggo before this, had had dreams of him that left him all hot and flustered. But now that he knew of his dark magic—he didn’t even need to know what purpose he was using it for—he didn’t want him.
Well maybe there was some inkling of want there, a splash of desire mixed in with all his complicated feelings… Hiccup tried his best to bury it deep.
“No.”
Viggo tossed his head back with a laugh. “You don’t get to say no to me, darling.”
Hiccup watched as Viggo held his palm upwards and curled his fingers inwards to make a fist. He couldn’t watch for long though, because pleasure erupted in his body. And erupted was a good word for it. It had just suddenly burst to life inside his core like nothing he’d ever felt before. Even the small taste of it Viggo had given him was nothing compared to this.
Hiccup couldn’t hold in a scream. His head went back against the tree, and he felt himself writhing in the hold of Viggo’s magic.
It was so good . He wanted it to stop at the same time he wanted more. He couldn’t comprehend what was happening.
He was sure he was going to scream his voice hoarse.
The pleasure broke before he could go absolutely mad, reached a climax. He didn’t know what happened. He may have shrieked.
But suddenly, Hiccup was no longer trapped in a casing of red magic. He was on his hands and knees, sweat trickling from his hair, head bowed, wings drooping. He was trying his best to catch his breath. He felt something… warm in his pants.
Viggo crouched down in front of Hiccup, cupped his chin to tip up his head towards him.
“How was that, my dear Hiccup?” Hiccup’s lips trembled; he was shaking in the aftermath.
“I…”
“It’s alright. Get your bearings.” Viggo stroked his thumb over his lower lip, then let go of him.
Hiccup didn’t know how he felt about his touch at the moment. He… oh gods… something inside him wanted it.
Viggo straightened, wiping his hands as if he’d just done arduous work.
“You will tell no one of this, if you want anymore.” Viggo’s words were an order.
What Hiccup hated was that Viggo wasn’t just planting the idea of him wanting more from him in his head. It was there and real. Something about that magic was tantalizing beyond belief.
“Will you… will you teach me?” Hiccup asked, looking up at him. “Will you teach me more magic if I return?” He hated that he was asking, but it wasn’t just the pleasure that he wanted. He wanted knowledge. He wanted to have what Viggo had.
He wanted power.
“Of course, darling.” Viggo held out his hand to help Hiccup to his feet. Hiccup took it. Viggo’s hands were warm and soft, unlike Hiccup’s: calloused from hard work.
“Now, to seal this deal of ours.” Viggo took him by the chin again, and pulled him into a kiss.
Hiccup didn’t object in the least. In fact, he kissed him back. He felt magic between them, Viggo’s magic, his true magic, sealing their words and their bond.
This deal would be unbreakable.
