"Michael!" Came Jeremy's voice from Michael's phone.
"Yeah?" He replied, voice groggy and rough because Jeremy had woken him up at 3 am.
"Dude, Miah, love of my life, apple of my eye, what the fuck? It's like the middle of the night, why in god's green earth are you calling me?'
"I grew a plant!" Jeremy screeched.
"Good...job? Why was this important enough to call me at 3am?"
"You don't understand!" Jeremy said, voicing rising by an octave (which was kinda cute but now was not the time). "I grew a plant! Like, faster than plants grow!"
"Hey, Jeremy, deep breaths okay?"
Jeremy's breathing slowed a bit.
"Can you tell me what happened?" Michael asked, trying to be as gentle as possible.
"So you know how I'm like good with plants and shit? Well-" He took a deep breath, "Well I was kinda singing a song to a succulent on my windowsill because my grandma used to that and she said that the plants would grow and I didn't that was true but now my succulent is larger than I think a succulent should be," Jeremy rambled.
"So like...magic." Michael said, brain not quite functioning correctly.
"Oh my god, oh my god, magic. Magic! I'm going insane but I can't be be-"
"Hey, Miah, it's the middle of the night but I'm gonna come drive you to my house and we'll deal with this tomorrow? Is that okay babe?" Michael felt like he and Jeremy were horrible at pet names and stuff, but it seemed necessary right now.
"Okay, okay I can do that," Said Jeremy, "We'll deal with this tomorrow. Tomorrow,"
