Worm/Final Fantasy IX. The main character of Final Fantasy gets dropped into Worm in front of Slaughterhouse 9's latest atrocity-in-progress, stops it, then proceeds to make his way down the West Coast, performing fetch quests along the way until pulled into a battle against the Simurgh.
Or, what happens with someone with an out-of-context problem ends up treating Worm like a video game. The one that got me to play Final Fantasy.
