Summary
Firefighter and paramedic Claire Redfield is just trying to get through her shifts on the ambulance in September of 1998 when a nightmarish pandemic hits her city. She, along with the other emergency personnel, must make a stand if they want to survive through the week. It doesn't hurt that the cute rookie who pulled her over previously still hasn't lost his charm. Men are weird sometimes.

Best Resident Evil fic you'll ever read!
- Medic/first responder Claire Redfield
- Leon Skennedy who actually got to be in the RPD and hang out with da bois
- The Badass Extraordinaire Jill Valentine(Claire highkey gets chased by Nemesis and it got me quaking in my boots)
Also, a really amazing narrative about how the people of Raccoon City (the local heroes, as the title implies including the RPD, RFD and Sheriff's dept) dealt with the outbreak.
You get attached to the NPCs. But it's so good!
