Work Text:
Wind blows softly, almost lazily under the bright glare of the afternoon sun. Noelle rocks gently back and forth from where she sits in the shade, next to where her friend had chosen to settle in and bask in the sun's warmth. Loosely curled in onto himself, Lars had dozed off in a rare moment of peace and quiet. Noelle yawns as she thinks of cats. It'd be nice to pet them, she thinks. She reaches down to her sleeping friend's head and pets him instead, as there were no cats nor feline shaped people here. Lars would've normally gotten annoyed, but he doesn't mind today, today is a nice day. He only lets out a half hearted huff of indignation but doesn't do anything else. in the distance, Noelle could make out a faint song, a sound that reminded her much of their afternoon. Warm and sleepy. Her rocking slowly comes to a stop as she drifts into sleep as well, the two content friends enjoying their fleeting moment of a lazy afternoon. Today is a nice day.
