~Just as I was about to take my shoes
Off of the rooftop there I see
A boy with braided hair here before me
Despite myself, I go and scream
"Hey, don't do it please!"~
When Eula mustered up enough courage to finally do the thing she's been willing to do she saw a small figure of a person-no a boy with braided hair who's sitting at the rails seeming ready to jump off, despite herself she subconsciously screamed for the boy to stop. Eula was surprised of what she had just said but couldn't care less anyways.
The said boy was staring at her with shock, as he watches her strode to him in an elegant yet shy manner. Once the girl was close enough she recognized the boy as Venti, the boy who's girlfriend was rumored to be cheating with another man, although that rumor wasn't confirmed nor denied yet. She questioned him of why he had wanted to jump off. With a sad smile the braided hair boy told his story.
~For God's sake please! Are you serious? I just can't believe
That for some stupid reason you got here before me
Are you upset 'cause you can't have what you wanted?
You're lucky that you've never gotten robbed of anything~
Eula listened to his woes and said reasons why he should think about other people and forget about the girl.
The boy then disappeared after thanking her.
~Alright, today's the day, or so I thought
Just as I took both of my shoes off
There was but a girl short as can be
Despite myself, I go and scream~
Eula thought today was the day just as she took both of her shoes off she saw a small petite girl standing at the edge of the rails with the same intent she has. She recognized this girl, she was Hu Tao her kohai who everybody seems to not like. And before she knew it she screamed the same thing she did yesterday.
~For God's sakes please! Are you serious? I just can't believe
That for some stupid reason you got here before me
'Cause even so you're still loved by everyone at home
There's always dinner waiting on the table, you know~
Eula listened to her woes, and gave her a reason that her family is waiting for her at home. "I'm hungry" said the girl as she shed a tear. The short petite girl then disappeared. Never to be seen again lingering at the rooftop.
~And like that, there was someone every day
I listened to their tale, I made them turn away
And yet there was no one who would do this for me
No way I could let out all this pain~
And so after that day she had failed again to jump off. The next day and the next next day and so on there was always a person in the rooftop who always had the same intent as her. Eula always listened to their tales and made them turn away. And yet every time they left she was always wishing that someone would listen to her tale and make her turn away aswell, of course that was just her wishful thinking. Sometimes she thinks that all the reasons she had said to those people are just for her to turn away and continue living but she's stubborn and keep coming up to the rooftop with the intent to end her miserable life.
~For the very first time there I see
Someone with the same pains as me
Having done this time and time again
She wore a yellow cardigan~
And so the next day she saw a woman the same as her height at the edge with as always the same intent but hers was finalized. Eula tried making up the appearance of this mysterious woman and saw that she was Rosaria her classmate. She walked up to her and Rosaria just stared at her with confusion written all over her face. Rosaria then shaked her head and let go of the rail.
Rosaria was tired of living and had no reason to keep on living so she just thought 'Why not end it here right now'. When she was looking at Eula her classmate that was infront she just shaked her head not caring if she did watch her die and let go of the rail. What she expected was the quick death, but what she didn't expect was her wrist getting held by the girl that was now behind her.
Eula was surprised to see that she has seized Rosaria's wrist without even thinking about it.
~Whoa, wait a minute what did I just say?
I couldn't care less either way
But in the moment I just screamed
Something that I could not believe
"Hey, don't do it please!"~
Eula was watching her hand on Rosaria's wrist getting shaken off by none other than Rosaria herself. That wasn't what surprised her the one that surprised her was that she kept a tight hold on her wrist. She talked to Rosaria to tell her what was wrong. Rosaria told her tale with a sad smirk on her face.
~Ah, what to do? I can't stop this girl, oh this is new
For once I think I've bitten off more than I can chew
But even so, please just go away so I can't see
Your pitiful expression is just too much for me~
As Eula was listening to Rosaria tell her tale she was thinking of many reasons to make her turn away but came out blank. For once she thought that she has bitten off more than she can chew. But even so she won't make Rosaria jump off and end her life. She knows she's just being selfish by not making Rosaria jump to end her sad life but still. She just want to get Rosaria turn away so she can't see the pitiful sight.
~"I guess today is just not my day"
She looked away from me and then she disappeared~
Eula was surprised to see that Rosaria actually turned away with tears on her eyes.
~There's no one here today, I guess it's time
It's just me myself and I
There is no one who can interfere
No one to get in my way here~
Eula was happy yet sad that no one was here. Happy because she can end it here with no one interfering, Sad because she can't find any excuses to turn away.
And so she walked up to the edge of the rail and thought of what would happen if she ended it here. All she thought of was that everyone wouldn't care less if she died. And so taking of her ID and undoing her hair she smiled happily with tears flowing through her face she let go expecting a hard floor at the end.
~Taking off my yellow cardigan
Watching my braids all come undone
This petite girl, short as can be
Is gonna jump now and be free~
She felt 3 hands holding her wrist. She immediately turned her head to look who was holding her hand.
She saw the faces of Venti, Hu Tao, and Rosaria looking at her. "Please don't" Venti said to her with pleading eyes. She shaked her head and tried wiggling her hand to get out of the three's hold but the three kept a strong grip. Venti and Hu Tao told her to tell them why she wanted to do it while Rosaria looked at her pitifully. She cried knowing that someone was willing to listen to her miserable life. And so she told them her tale. After telling them the three shouted something. Once she made up the words she saw all the people she made turn away smiling at her. They encourage her to keep living and so she cried even more. She still thought of jumping so when she felt the grip on her wrist soften she wiggled her wrist out and jumped. She closed her eyes so she wouldn't see the surprised faces of the people and everything was blank. She felt something soft and opened her eyes to see a white ceiling and she abruptly stood up too see she was in the hospital with all the people she saw before blacking out. She cried and soon the people noticed her awake and immediately went to her side.
She got more friends once she started taking therapy and so on her life became adequate.
