Chapter Text
The last thing Aizawa expected to see when he walked outside UA’s doors was the student he was training, being held down by other teachers, trying to escape their grasp. They were all struggling to hold down the purple-headed boy, Shinsou, the sweet boy he thought could never be held in a position like this. Other students just stared in shock while slowly backing away to give the teachers room. Aizawa only stood there momentarily, mouth slightly agape, before finally realizing he should do something.
"What's going on here?" shouted Aizawa with a stern voice, gaining all of the teacher's attention.
"This child, in your class, is a villain !" shouted one of the teachers from a lower class as they were finally able to restrain Shinsou enough to put quirk-suppressing handcuffs on the boy. Aizawa knew they were very wrong though. They had to be. The child that he worked with vigorously, who seemed so determined, could never be such a thing. Even after the cuffs were placed around his thin wrists, he continued to struggle. Aizawa finally decided to move toward the boy to try and understand what was going on. He bent down next to Shinsou's face and helped move his tangled purple hair out of his face, only for his shoes to be spit on by the boy. Pure confusion surfaced on his face as he raised an eyebrow and as Midnight started ordering everyone to back away. Aizawa already knew what was going to happen as he took several large steps backward, if only Shinsou had cooperated, Midnight wouldn't have had to use her quirk.
As soon as her quirk was activated, Shinsou's struggle gradually reduced as he stopped moving altogether, purple smoke floated around the boy as Midnight deactivated her quirk.
Moving back towards the boy, Aizawa picked up the kid and started carrying him inside the building. With the assistance of Midnight, he finally made it to the back of the med bay with the young boy. Aizawa gently set the boy down on one of the beds in the corner of the room and after gently applying cushioned restraints, he covered the young boy with stark white blankets.
“He looks worryingly skinny,” said Aizawa quietly, while sternly looking at Recovery Girl. While Aizawa looked stern at the moment, he was actually wracking his brain for any explanation other than the small, outrageous one he was given.
“He does. I would give him a feeding tube, but I would like to speak to him first to see if he will agree to eat rather than being forced. Although, I can keep him hydrated through an IV.” said Recovery Girl, looking at the boy sadly before ultimately moving to set up the rest of the bed, trying to keep him as comfortable as possible for when he does wake up.
After she finally set up the bed, Recovery Girl traveled over to the area where all her medical supplies were safely locked away and grabbed an IV, IV stand, and bag that was filled with a simple saline solution with added vitamins. She put the supplies down on the table next to the bed and slowly walked over to the sink to wash her hands so she could put sterile gloves on.
“Yknow, even though I do have a healing quirk, I feel I rarely use it besides when I have to take care of Midoriya, even then, sometimes I can’t even use my quirk for him.” She said almost sadly while drying her hands and sliding on white rubber gloves.
She walked over to Shinsou again to sterilize the area where she would be placing the IV.
After she finished setting up the IV, she disposed of her gloves and sat down in her chair near her computer, gaze spread out across the room.
“Well, it's still useful, I can’t imagine what we would do without you,” said Midnight as Aizawa almost jumped, remembering that she was still in the room with them.
“Why thank you, dear.” Recovery Girl said, smiling.
Aizawa only continued to stare at the boy sleeping soundly in the bed and the IV connected to him. The boy was completely motionless other than his chest slowly rising and deflating in a steady rhythm, while Recovery Girl and Midnight started talking, something about health and making sure they both were drinking enough water and getting enough rest.
“Shota, I know you’re not going to leave the boy so just sit down, and stop looking like you’ve never seen an IV before, you’re gonna glare a hole right through the damn bag,” said Recovery Girl as she pulled a chair next to the bed.
Sighing, Shota sat down, knowing from experience to listen when Recovery Girl ordered something, as he started mentally preparing for the hell that was about to come next.
