"Steven was suffocating.
When he had first woken up after Harrow shot them, it was with a start and a hand flying up, albeit clumsily, to his chest to ensure the holes that he thought should be there weren’t actually there. He had been relieved upon just feeling his own flat chest but that relief was quickly replaced with newfound anxiety as he realized that he couldn’t see anything. Worse, he could hardly move his arms - the heavy lid on the coffin proved too much for him to move on his own, effectively trapping him. With a start, Steven stopped cold.
The coffin. Steven was in a coffin. He was in a coffin and he couldn’t get out. He felt his heart sink into his stomach as he tried once again to shove the lid off him. It didn’t even budge."
