“Look, B… I know you’re worried, but I’m fine. We’ve both suffered worse injuries after a regular patrol. Honestly, the guy was a bit of an amateur. The only reason I didn’t get out while we were still in the van was because there were ten of them carrying guns, and as good as I am, my odds would be a lot better when not locked inside a moving—”
“That is not the problem.”
Dick stopped talking mid sentence. He sighed, then nodded.
“I figured as much. You wouldn’t get this riled up over a simple failed kidnapping. You’re worried about the injuries, but that’s not why you’re like this, is it? So it’s something else. Something else I did to make you…” Dick trailed off. “What is it, B? I can’t help you if I don’t know what’s wrong.”
Bruce didn’t reply. Perhaps it wasn’t fair, but it felt fair, and the quietness rendered him petty. Not playing into Dick’s tactics was an appropriate punishment for what the younger man had done.

Dick took a risk while on a mission. He doesn't think it's a big deal. Bruce ardently disagrees.
