Summary
After escaping the TVA, Loki can settle anywhere in the universe, and no one is more surprised than he is that he chooses Midgard. But that’s where his fellow Asgardians have settled, and their new home is once again in peril of complete destruction—this time, from the awakening of The Midgard Serpent. Loki has the knowledge and will to destroy it, if only he can convince Earth’s mystic gatekeeper to let him in. Unfortunately, that man is the stubborn, cocky—handsome—Sorcerer Supreme, Doctor Stephen Strange.
Doctor Strange has enough problems, and he doesn’t want to add indulging infamous villain Loki to his to-do list. For one thing, he’s not about to trust history’s most consistent betrayer. For another, he’s not willing to trust his own heart. But as the earth begins to shake apart, both men must set aside their pretenses and work together to find answers—to besting The Serpent, to saving the world, and to navigating the intoxicating, undeniable connection between the god and the sorcerer.
