Chapter Text
Katsuki woke with a throbbing ache in his stomach. He was curled in on himself on the mattress, squeezing the sweat soaked sheets.
What the hell?!
He felt hot and cold all at once, a clear sign he was sick, even though he never got sick. He pushed himself up, wincing at the deep pinch he felt inside him. This was so not something he needed right now, he was supposed to be training to get stronger, not weaker. He pushed himself from the bed, refusing to be sick while his classmates went on without him. As he stood, he felt a warm liquid between his thighs. Katsuki shoved a hand into his boxers and when he yanked it back out for examination, his fingers were covered in a translucent fluid. Slick.
………..…..No….No…No.No!No!No!NO!NO!
Tears of frustration and fear pricked at his eyes as he let out an angry sob. He couldn’t be, there was no way he was… But here was the proof, glistening between the pads of his fingertips. He was the last of his classmates to present and everyone, EVERYONE had been sure he’d be an alpha. He had all the classic traits and temperament, it didn’t make any sense.
As another surge of pain jolted through his abdomen, Katsuki felt a desperate need to call his parents. He needed someone to explain, to reassure him this was a mistake, he needed someone to hold him..
Oh my god..gross.
He let out a growl of frustration as he pulled his clothes off, tossing them as he slowly walked himself to his bathroom. He shivered as he waited for the shower water to warm up, doubling over when another cramp shot through him.
“Fuck!”
How do omegas do this?
Well, he certainly wasn’t going to put up with this. As soon as he felt clean, he was going to march, okay maybe crawl, himself down to that bat of a nurse and demand an explanation for the betrayal his body had committed.
“ Fuck !” He swore again when he realized tears were streaming down his face. A wave of sadness overtook all his anger, making him sink down to the floor of the shower. He wrapped his arms around his knees and sobbed into his arms, warm water spraying against his hair. Everything was ruined. He could never be the hero he was supposed to be as an omega. His teachers were going to tell him he should drop out, his friends were going to laugh at him, his parents were going to be so disappointed in him.
What the hell is all of this?!
He never let himself sulk in self-pity, believing it was for weaklings who couldn’t figure out how to help themselves. If this bullshit is what it meant to be an omega, fuck no! They could stuff their secondary gender, he wasn’t having any of it. He grit his teeth and stood to wash himself, refusing to give into these forgein feelings. For the first time in his life, the warm water didn’t feel good. He loved a hot shower, but today it just made his skin feel too sensitive. He doubled over again, grasping at the tiled wall for purchase as his insides screamed.
“Aggh!” He squeezed his eyes shut, trying to force back the tears that threatened to fall again. He hated this. Genuinely hated it. He never cried, never . And here he was, barely able to keep from blubbering as he washed his hair. As he turned off the water, and the room was left in silence, his head started to pound.
His plan to go to the school nurse evaporated as stumbled back into his bedroom and pulled a new pair of sweatpants on, realizing he’d probably have to change again soon. He lurched forward, wrapping his arms around his middle, clenching his teeth to keep from crying out again. He tried to walk towards his bed, but the strongest cramp made him drop to his knees.
“Ah!”
This is pathetic.
“ Fuck… ” He gasped, his breathing labored as he let himself slump down against the cool floor. He didn’t realize how hot he was until he pressed his forehead against the wood floor. He drifted in and out of awareness, his body aching in every sense of the word. He knew someone could probably help him, but he didn’t know how to get off the floor now that he was there.

“Bakubro?” Eijiro called cautiously, frowning in confusion. He was certain he’d heard Katsuki yelling or..crying? No, that couldn’t be right. But he did think he’d heard something that didn’t sound good. He also smelled…something. Something sweet and..familiar? It made his stomach flutter. He waited for an answer, and when he got none, he used the spare key Katsuki had given him for emergencies.
“Kats?”
S’mores. The smell was undoubtedly s’mores and undoubtedly the smell of an omega in heat. His dick made the connection before his brain did. His mind was split between the worry for his friend, who was lying on the floor, and the sweet aroma of omega.
“Katsuki?!” He rushed over to kneel beside his friend but was forced to scramble away before he got to touch him. The alpha inside him roared to life at the sight of his beautiful friend covered in a sheen of sweat, his cheeks covered in pink, unconscious beside his bed.
“Kat? Katsuki?” Eijiro asked, backing away towards the door as the voice inside him demanded that he claim . He’d never experienced the effects of an omega like this before. He’d never felt bowled over by the intoxicating scent and it was terrifying and confusing. Before his body overtook his senses, he yanked the door open and darted through it. His inner alpha snarled in disgust at the action. Out in the hall, he could still clearly smell the sweet aroma but it wasn’t fogging his head the way it was inside the room.
His first thought had been to get Mr. Aizawa but he realized that he wouldn’t be the only alpha to smell the scent of Katsuki’s heat. Katsuki’s heat , that concept had Eijiro’s head spinning. He dug his phone out of the pocket of his shorts, dialing his teacher’s number to ask for help, having decided that he would stand guard at Katsuki’s door.

“Stay out here.” Mr. Aizawa instructed as he entered Katsuki’s room. A tiny growl escaped Eijiro’s chest as the older alpha shut the door behind him. In Katsuki’s room, Aizawa took a sharp inhale, freezing at the overpowering scent of toasted marshmallow. His explosive student was unconscious on the floor, clearly going through a strong heat. Surprising, as Bakugou had the common temper of an alpha. It was clear the heat had come to Katsuki as a similar surprise, the teen clearly hadn’t been prepared for such an event.
He strode forward and kneeled down beside the boy, gently shaking his arm, “Bakugou?”
A whine escaped the teen’s chest, but he didn’t open his eyes. The older man put a hand on his forehead, feeling the fever that had hold of him.
“Oh, Kid..”
