Hose Wars

Summary:

This wasn't supposed to be happening. It was summer. You had finally finished your thesis and were planning to take the whole summer to let your mind just go numb with gaming, drunkenness, and meaningless sex. That's what you wanted to happen. Instead, you get an email from some city lawyer, saying that an estranged grandmother, having recently passed away, made you essentially the sole beneficiary. She had left you her house and everything in it, as well as a significant sum of money.
And two very hot neighbours.

Notes:

Part one and two was originally one large monster, and just for readability on ao3, I broke it up into two parts so it flows with the rest of the chapter sizes.

Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Chapter Text

This wasn't supposed to be happening. It was summer. You had finally finished your thesis and were planning to take the whole summer to let your mind just go numb with gaming, drunkenness, and meaningless sex. That's what you wanted to happen. Instead, you get an email from some city lawyer, saying that an estranged grandmother, having recently passed away, made you essentially the sole beneficiary. She had left you her house and everything in it, as well as a significant sum of money.

Naturally, you thought it was a rouse. You enlisted the help of your lawyer friend Namjoon to look over everything, and it was legit. You nearly couldn't believe your luck. Automatically, you paid back your student loans, paid off your car, and was even more excited to spend your summer doing nothing, except with money.

However, your grandmother's lawyer had urged you to decide what you wanted to be done with the house if you wanted to sell it, the furniture, what have you. And while you considered it, you decided you might want to keep it. But this was the dream, being able to live comfortably in a picturesque town, working whenever you want. At least it seemed that way.

The moment you arrived, barely 10 am, it was already 85*F. The ocean breeze brought in humidity that made your clothes start to stick to your skin in a way you’d rather avoid. Wanting nothing but to collapse into a cool, air-conditioned couch and drink anything cold and sweet. The lawyer said someone would meet up with you to give you the keys, but no one was there yet. It was hot, and you would do anything to be in the shade. So you walked into the backyard where there was a beautiful patio with wicker furniture placed under some shade. After dusting it off a bit, you finally went to sit down before a voice yelled out at you

“Who the hell are you?”You jump out of your skin at a man dressed in all black despite the hellish heat outside. He was standing on the other side of the low fence that seemed to separate the yards. Most of his face was obscured by a black cap, pieces of blond hair sticking out from under the back.

“I’m Y/N, I, uh, inherited the house? Who are you.” You noticed a pair of keys dangling from his fingers, meaning that he was probably supposed to give you the keys.

“Listen, a lot of people have been coming here saying they were the ones who owned the house now. Now, if you don’t have any proof, I’m going to have to call the police again and-”

“No! Wait, I have the documents in my car! Please don’t call the cops!” You got up and ran to your car, pulling the yellow envelope that contains most of the legal matters. Cradling it to your chest, you walk more cautiously to the backyard, surprised to find the man now leisurely reclined on one of the sun chairs in his yard.

"Here you go. No need to call the cops." You had your id along with the envelopes to him, waiting for him to look up from underneath his cap. After glaring at you from beneath the brim (he must have expected you to run) his eyes widened as he took the envelope from your waiting hands. He looked through the paperwork with a careful eye, matching the signatures from your license to the ones scribbled on the paper.

After his thorough review, he handed the envelope back with your license and the keys tucked inside. Without another word, he readjusted his hat before getting up from his chair and heading inside. Despite his odd behavior, you were glad your interaction was cut short, allowing you to finally enter the house.

He must have been a caretaker of some sort. Between the paperwork and what the lawyer had said, your grandmother had died nearly 6 months ago. While most of the time after was spent getting into contact with you, the entire of it the house was empty. But you wouldn't have thought to. It was clean inside, barely any dust collected on whatever furniture was left. Off to the side, there was a window that looked newer than the others. Considering the neighbor's threat, you've guessed it was broken in an attempt to enter. Either way, it was fortunate he was around then. Most of the home was still in decent shape. Not much for you to fix up or change. Even the fridge was empty except for a pitcher of water and some fresh looking lemon slices. However, while you went around familiarizing yourself with the home, you found one big inconvenience.

The air conditioning was broken.

Even after you busied yourself moving some of your stuff from your car, you found yourself drenched in sweat even as the afternoon drew to its peak. You didn't notice before as you went about putting your clothes away or setting up your keepsakes, being in the shade was enough. But as the sun reached its highest part in the sky and humidity nearly doubled, you found the water pitcher empty and your skin sticky. Even as you replaced your respectable jeans and t-shirt to a pair of shorts you'd never wear in public and an old tank top tied tightly under your damp breasts, you found yourself lamenting checking the temperature on your phone. Thinking about the dark gatekeeper you met, you wondered if he was a bit of a handyman. You've noticed little things an elderly woman couldn't have done on her own, slightly mismatched door handles, new facets, modernized light fixtures, and upgraded electronics.

With that, you mustered enough courage to confront the quarrelsome man again. Barely bothering to change your outfit again, you threw on a sundress you're thankful to have on hand. You make a note in your phone to order more clothes fit for the heat before heading over to the neighbors. However, this time, a different man was standing outside, watering the flowers.

"Oh hello! You must be Y/N! I'm Jin, welcome to the neighborhood!" Once you got past the evenly tan skin of his bare chest, you saw an equally attractive face to match. He had shorts on that barely covered his thighs and a straw hat to keep the sun off his face. You almost had to slap yourself to remind you to speak.

"Yeah, Hi. Sorry. Do you happen to know where that man who gave me the keys went?" You went close to the low stone wall that seemed to separate your yards, where yours was simple in its decor, theirs was filled with flush flora, even in the heat, everything was very much alive and green.

"Oh sure, little guy, emo looking, a little grumpy?" You nodded.

"He threatened to call the cops on me." That causes Jin to laugh, making his face widen into a smile that made him even more beautiful.

"Oh, that's just how he says hello. You should hear how he proposed. Sounded like he was a hostage negotiator." When you started laughing he smiled even wider, even as he stated the fact that this beautiful, amazing man was married to that ornery man.

"Oh, how long have you two been together?" Setting down his water can, he waved you over. He quickly invited you inside, offering you a cool drink and even lunch, seeing as he knows that house has been empty for so long, and how skinny you look. After putting on a shirt, he bounces from topic to topic, from his husband Yoongi(5 years married, together for 8, known him for 10) to their dog Holly (whom Yoongi was currently taking to the vet), his residency at the local hospital, recipes and even your grandmother.

"Nana Park was a bit of an outsider, I'll admit it. She very much fit the 'eccentric old lady who lived alone and might be a witch.' type. She really didn't talk to anyone other than Yoongi. He's a music teacher at the school, but since it's so small he also teaches smaller classes like woodshop or auto shop." When he describes his husband's job, he didn't seem like the type to spend most of his days with children. He seemed more like the type to make collection calls and yell back at the irate callers.

"She does seem a little weird. Who else leaves everything to someone who she didn't even know."

"She did know you." Both you and Jin looked at the archway that led into the kitchen. There he was, minus the hat and a very rambunctious looking poodle in his arm, a linen grocery bag in the other. He was just as good looking as his partner. His eyes were enchanting, as well as his soft-looking mouth, the skin on his face a soft honey tone compared to his partner's darker tan.

"Vet said we need to watch what he eats more. Had he eaten more of that muffin, they would have had to pump his stomach." He went to crouch and let the small dog jump out of his arms and run out of the room. Whatever gastric distress he might have had was long gone.

"Yoongi! I heard you met Y/N already. She was wondering if you could look at the AC over at her place." Pulling a glass out of a cupboard, he goes to pull a pitcher of what looked like ice tea out of the fridge after he'd unloaded the groceries he bought.

"I already know what's wrong. It's missing a part."

“Can we order it?"

He narrowed his eyes.

"No. It's too old of a unit. The house is too old for it to be of use anyway. Seokjin, what do you want for dinner? I picked up stuff for spicy pork."

"Yoongi! Don't be rude. Why don't we invite Y/N for dinner, considering we both know that house doesn't have anything." The smaller man sighed, looking at his feet before turning his gaze back to you.

"Sorry hyungie. Y/N would you be okay with spicy pork?" With that, you ended up also staying for dinner as well as your late lunch. Throughout the evening, you found Yoongi become increasingly more tolerable when around his spouse. Jin's humor in itself was enough to have both smiling throughout the evening. While the younger was quieter in his attentions, he was entirely just as in love with Jin as Jin was with him. Even as dinner was made and cleared, you found yourself not wanting to return to your house. The duo themselves even made more excuses for you to stay later. Jin asking Yoongi to play piano, Yoongi asking Jin to sing, Jin forcing you to dance with him, all before finally opening a bottle of red wine to sip on the patio.

"It is getting pretty late. Jungkook's starting his clinical tomorrow morning and I can't be late." Jin brought up his friend who was a nursing major, who was apparently working at the same hospital Jin resides in.

"I guess. I have to do some more stuff in the house before the sun rises and melts me alive. Thank you, again. For everything. "You move to stand, thanking them as you do.

"You should get some food in that house. As much as I love cooking for people, Yoongi is the one home more often. And he won’t even get up to make himself a sandwich, let alone delectable multicourse meals like I.” You know Jin wasn’t drunk, but he was instigating more affection towards Yoongi, a hand on his thigh moving to hold the blond’s hand as he spoke to you.

“Hey, my cooking is just as good as yours. You just have ‘the will’.” Yoongi tried doing air quotes with his fingers still linked with Seokjin’s, causing you to giggle as he looked a little ridiculous.

“Whatever. Yoongi, you should take Y/N to the store. And to The Market, not that ghastly Walmart in the next town.”

“Finally, you reject that corporate mega monster-”

“It’s only because you kept complaining about the economic impact-”

“It’s literally sucking revenue and foot traffic away from The Market, the surf shops, and-”

“Anyway, y/n, I hope you settle in fine. If you’re up early enough, you're welcome to come to breakfast. Otherwise, feel free to drag Yoongi out whenever convenient.” Yoongi instead just huffed, cheeks a little too red to object, but also not entirely rejecting the plans made out for you. In all honesty, having to spend time along with the quieter neighbor was a bit nerve-wracking. These two men were breath-taking on their own, even more so together.

Seokjin was very warm and welcoming to invite a stranger into his home, feed them, and make them feel at home with a few well-placed jokes and kind smiles; while Yoongi was the more mysterious, dark, and brooding type. But this evening gave you a slight look into a softer interior, mostly surrounding his little poodle and the man he loves.

Right.

The one big obstacle between you and these two already intriguing men are the matching silver bands that they both wear.

You didn’t keep them up much longer, letting your fatigue show as you returned over your low fence and through your back door. Through the small kitchen window that peered into the backyard, you could see them cleaning up. Yoongi took the glasses in his hand as Jin corked the bottle. Perhaps it was their lawn lights or the contrast between the yellow lights of the kitchen and the semi-darkness of the backyard, but your breath got caught in your throat when Yoongi reached up to grab Seokjin’s head, pulling him into a long kiss before pulling away, seamlessly grabbing a few more items of the trash before going inside.

Had it been you, you would have been gobsmacked. That beautiful man just kissing your breath away before just going on his merry way. Seokjin didn’t, or at least you couldn’t tell. But you could hear how his laughter echoed across the lawn as he followed his husband inside, turning off the outside lights before turning back to the window, sending a quick wave your way before going deeper into the house.

The reality was that you were far too tired to read into anything now. A tummy full of food and a sweet chianti was making your body crave being horizontal. However, a cooling shower and a change of clothes were in order before you think you could sleep through the night without tossing a turning that was expected in a new environment. Figuring out the shower took so long you considered seeing if Yoongi would help you, or if a washcloth and the sink would do until you could ask him in the morning. But you had enough common sense not to want to intrude on a married couple at night. Especially when remembering how their eyes began to linger and how confident their hands were with their caresses.

To say you dreamt of them was an understatement. From the moment your head hit your pillow, you were, not quite plagued, but your subconscious filled with plush lips, cat eyes, strong chest, and strong hands. Their names barely touch the tip of your tongue as you filtered through various situations with just one or both of them. Hands, mouths, and holes preoccupied from the moment you laid down to when you woke up to a phone call from your dear friend.

“What, Namjoon.” You all but growled into the receiver. You knew your friend was just calling to check up on you, unbeknownst that you were in the modest of your umpteenth tryst with your dreamy neighbors.

“Oh wow, good morning. Have you been drinking water? You’re always so grouchy when you haven't been maintaining homeostasis.”

“You know, for a lawyer, you’re a fucking know it all.” He had a point. It was barely past 7 in the morning, and the way your tongue was dried to the roof of your mouth made you crave some water and a toothbrush.

“I love you too. Now, are you staying at a hotel? Or are you liking the house? You haven’t texted me since you got into town and I’ve been worried. Please fill me in. My next client is due for another 35 minutes and I could use a window into your new life of luxury.” Had you been face timing, you would have stuck your tongue out at him. However childish, Namjoon has been your friend since freshman year of college. Having been paired up during orientation, you both had been shy and awkward. Fast forward nearly a decade, featuring simultaneous glow ups, a failed attempt at a relationship, a minor near-death experience, and hours spent prioritizing studying over socialization; and you have one of the closest relationships you’d probably ever had. You and Joon even talked about getting married and having kids if no one else comes along. (Translation, no one else for you comes along. You have met plenty of men and women who would risk it all to bear his children. And you don’t blame them.)

“I mean..besides the fact I have to invest in a new aircon system, it’s really cute. Think of your aunt’s cabin, but fewer cats and more seashells.” You moved about, keeping him on speaker as you made your way to the bathroom, gulping down subpar tap water before reaching for your toiletry bag.

“That sounds equally cozy and terrifying. Met your neighbors? Your grandmother’s lawyer said that one of them had been a groundskeeper even before she passed.” You nearly gagged on your toothbrushing, throwing it into the sink. “Uh oh. What happened.” Joon asked.

“Nothing. Ack. Nothing.” You tried rinsing your mouth, the burning spearmint not feeling good in your sinuses.

“Bullshit. What happened. Short version, please love.”

“Fuck! Okay. One neighbor is like this pretty, broody pseudo hardass who's actually a totally soft when it comes to his dog and his equally beautiful yet extremely cheery husband who is built like a god and cooks like one too. Namjoon, they are literally married, but they are the epitome of my perfect men. No offense. I still love you and may birth your spawn, but they are perfect.” Joon just chuckles as you hear him readjust the phone.

“So the summer of nothing is now turning into a summer of trying not to wreck a marriage? I mean, it’s not my specialty, but if they need a divorce lawyer, I am more than willing-”

“Shut up. I’m not breaking them up. They are literally perfect together. It's already an honor and a privilege to be their neighbor. I’m not going to fuck it up because I’ve got the hots for both of them.” With that, he dropped it, mostly. He was still Namjoon and teased you about it before hanging up, and texted you again about it when you were due to go get Yoongi.

You had spent most the morning, post phone calls, moving more of your things from your car to the house. The temperature slowly climbs as you do most of the labor. Fully thankful you didn’t adopt one of those kittens while ago, or else you wouldn’t be able to have all your doors and windows open to let some of the ocean breezes cool your new home down even slightly.

“Uh… hello?” You jumped, seeing Yoongi standing in your kitchen, looking every bit uncomfortable as if he probably was more at home here than you’ll ever be.

“Shit, sorry. Hi Yoongi. Did Jin leave already?” He nodded.

“Yeah. He made cinnamon rolls, wanted me to bring some over if you didn’ make your way over first. Are you ready for The Market?” Once again throwing you for a loop, dressed in a red plaid patterned long sleeve, white jeans, and sandals, all topped off with a straw looking hat.

“Uh, yeah. I made a list this morning. Would you like me to drive? Or would you…”Returning with your notebook in hand, you see him bending over looking at something before quickly standing up, looking slightly sheepish.

“I’ll drive. I have a pick up for work, so I need the extra space.” You nodded, still grabbing your new set of keys. Hearing that, you had expected a big truck, remembering what Jin had said about his job had made sense. But when you came around the dark grey Minivan, you guess that made sense as well. A bit odd for a couple with no children (at least you hope, that would make your infatuation with these men less weird if there weren't children involved. He naturally plugged his phone into the aux as he went into the driver's seat, the interior rather clean despite some tools and sheet music littered about the back.

“You want it?” You barely heard him when you buckled up, seeing where he offered the aux cord in his hand. Reaching for your phone, you accepted it, your inner school child squealing when your hand brushed against his as you took the cord.

“Any hard nos? This is still your car.” His shoulders slightly jumped with a laugh before shaking his head.

“I teach music. I’m critical of everything.” You took that into account when you put on a random playlist, mindful not to completely sing along as you made your way into town.

The Market, as it turns out, was really called ‘The Market’, a smallish enclosed courtyard that resembled more of a farmers market then a store. Fruits and vegetables stacked in wooden crates in the center while packaged goods stayed under the slight lip of the building. The bread was baked daily and farmers had some of the reproduction of other wares for sale on little stands within the courtyard. You could see why Yoongi loved this place. Mostly run by what looked like local teenagers, a few older men and women dotted the place with their aprons.

“Mr. Min! Weren’t you just here?” A kid who looked barely out of high school greeted him, obviously working here as he stacked the shelves of the aisle you were down, Yoongi being kind enough to hold your basket.

“New neighbor needed groceries. Otherwise, Jin would keep feeding her like the stray cats.” He joked, a soft smile as he looked back at you. “Y/N, this is Beomgyu, one of my old students.” The kid nodded.

“You moved into the Park place? That’s cool. Mr. Min has been extremely helpful too. Helped me with my scholarship applications, even watches my band practice sometimes. ” You could tell Yoongi was blushing from the praise but playing it off, seeming used to the praise, but still embarrassed about the sincerity.

“He’s been very helpful towards me as well.” You kept short, you could see him getting antsy, wanting to go about his day as much as he enjoyed talking to his student.

“Maybe you all could come over for dinner. I’d love to see how you all have progressed since Spring break.” He concluded, checking to see if he had the kid's current contact information before moving along with you, finishing up the rest of your shopping.

Yoongi was obviously well-liked in this community, the cashier a parent of one of Yoongi’s much younger students, him inquiring about her throughout the summer and asked if she’ll participate in the music camp later in the summer. The mother clearly also thought Yoong was attractive, bluntly flattering him despite the band on his finger or you by her side. She asked a little about you as she rang up your stuff, small-town gossip once again circling back to the ‘Park place’ grateful someone is living in it again.

After the store, Yoongi had to pick up some paints from the hardware store, a quick stop to throw some five gallons into the back of the van, causing it to dip lightly. You had to blink twice when you saw him lift the large buckets with ease, his thinner frame obviously a smokescreen for a much stronger psychic underneath his slightly baggy clothing. A thought you most definitely did not want to dwell on.

You at least treated him to lunch, once again introduced to a small little snack shop near the beach that had ‘daily catch chowder’ and kebabs that were to die for. Your companion for the day admitted to coming down here more than he should, food to go and reasonably priced to pass up, but a little unhealthy so he doesn’t tell his husband MD. Feeling the sun slowly start to bake you both alive, you both move to go back to your connected homes. As you spent the rest of the afternoon with him, putting away your groceries before deciding on a more low key dinner, and you both reading quietly outside when Seokjin came home from his 12-hour shift.

“Oh, I could get used to this.” The doctor jokes, changing out of his scrubs as he joins you both in their living room, kissing Yoongi’s hand before sitting next to you on the smaller loveseat. Both you and Yoongi didn’t know what to say to Seokjin, just allowing a pink blush to fill your cheeks as you paused your reading to listen to his day, hearing more about Jungkook’s first day. While he didn’t do the best academically, his instincts were good. Relaxing with them was easy, watching Yoongi get up to warm Jin up some of the leftover dinner as Jin drilled you on your day together, making sure Yoongi behaved and you got everything you needed. It was getting late again, Seokjin tired from his job, and with a full tummy, he started to get ready for bed, Yoongi blowing out candles and nearly looked backward for you to follow, only to see you waving as you took the backdoor to go back home.

Seokjin was right, though. It was incredibly easy to be with them. It was incredibly dangerous as well. From every moonlight conversation to sweaty lingering stares, every waking moment with them felt like you were no barreling down the same embarrassing end.

Rejection.

You constantly fought with yourself as you rationalized. They were your neighbors, your married neighbors. What would be the logic in pursuing them? What if they didn’t also like women, and were just being nice? What if one of them only likes you? Or one of them hates you? And you sleep with one and you destroy a decade long relationship because you got horny over Jin’s arms or Yoongi’s hands.

Even as your home started to become yours, set with a shitty window ac unit in your room and some food in the fridge, you were never there. As soon as you and Yoongi would finish what was on the todo list, you'd leave. In just two weeks you have seen his workshop, (small building apart of the school) his home studio (spare room in their house). Jin has taken you to his favorite spots in town, places where native flora flourish so close to the sea, where he casts off from on his days off, (and some places he and Yoongi almost got in trouble when they first moved to town.)

They had started to feel more like a home than the building you inherited. And that concerned you. Just how easily they fit into your life, and you into there. Holly even liked you, the ever-playful dog who ended up dressed in random shirts and costumes whenever Yoongi got a hold of him. They even had started enlisting your help when they cooked, an extreme honor, they assured you, that nearly no one had ever cooked in their kitchen beside them.

But as much as your feelings for the two of them grew, the temperature started to climb even higher, reaching triple digits more days than not. Even when they didn’t, the humidity made you want to just crawl inside the freezer and never come out. The guys were starting to feel it too. Even Yoongi, the man who was ever so faithful to place, started breaking out these color shorts that barely brushed his thighs.

“What? They were a gift from a friend. He has the matching pair.”

And as more and more skin started to show, the less straight you can think. You would find yourself diligently watching Yoongi as he unscrews the cap of his water with a single hand before gulping it down, watching the water and sweat collect at the hollow of his neck, making you want to run your tongue alongside it. Or watching Jin tends his garden, dressed in shorts just small enough to make his thighs bulge against the fabric, hose misting against his bare golden chest, and wanting to run your hands across his chest.

Sadly, you had thought you were subtle. You thought your gazes had not been that lingering. And no one noticed. Or minded.

It was finally Jin’s day off when you had found out you weren’t that subtle. The sun was high and ripe in the sky, and so was most of Jin’s garden. There was a farmers market the following day and he wanted to be able to sell the bulk of it off, keeping his competitive plants? Whatever those were. With both you and Yoongi harvesting, Jin was washing, sorting, and pricing everything from the comfort of under the umbrella.

Even so, all three of you were wearing the absolute minimum. You have very little choice being a female and unable to forgo your top like the two sweaty males besides you. And of course, it was today of all days that Yoongi had to break out the smallest, brightest colored shorts in his wardrobe. Min Yoongi, a man of blacks, greys, and the occasional red had on a neon blue pair of shorts that might as well have been a speedo, maybe having an inch of fabric that covered his thighs.

You might have been staring a little too long as a freezing spray drenched you and your tank top, making it stick to you like a second skin.

“Ah! What the fuck, Seokjin.” Letting out a surprised screech, pushing your now drenched hair from your face as you stare at your offending neighbor.

“Cooling you off. You're getting far too heated looking at my husband.” You tensed at his words, expecting to be faced with an infuriated Seokjin. Instead, you were just met with another blast of water. You yelped again, standing far too quickly before marching over to take the hose from him, firing it off at him. Despite the shocking temperature, Jin instead just moaned.

“Thatta girl. I’ve been needing that.” He then proceeded to shake himself off like a dog, promptly getting his partner soaked.

“Jin! What the hell.”Yoongi all but shot up into the air. Something that has been made apparent to you in the last few weeks. Yoongi does not like water. Why he moved to an ocean town you have no clue. Possibly more upset than you, even though he was much less wet, he walked over and took the hose from you.

“Nope. None of that. We have shit to do. The sexual tension between the two of you can wait. We have veggies to bushel.” Jin made an offended gasp when Yoongi took the hose and started spraying the bucket of turnips at Jin’s feet. Also soaking his feet.

“Hey! Me? And my sexual tension? You moaned her name out when I was sucking your dick last night, you ass.” Yoongi stared at his husband blankly for a moment before spraying him full on in the chest, making his screech.

“Okay, what the actual fuck? Can someone fill me in-” You got caught off with a cold stream that was aimed directly down your shirt, making you stand up and try to get away, holding your drenched shirt from your chest.

“Oh, Yoongi would love to-”

“Hyung!” Yoongi almost sounded petulant at that time, moving to send another squeeze of water towards Jin. Instead, you wrench it from his hands and properly sprayed him this time, and sent another towards JIn for good measure.

“No. Seriously. What is going on.” As much as Yoongi looked like a cat that is pissed they got a bath, it did not help how his thin white shirt became translucent, sticking to his rather defined chest. You suddenly realize your pink tank top must not look any better.

“For lack of better words princess, you’ve bewitched us.” You dropped the hose.

“What the hell are you-”

“It was so cute when Yoongi came running back to the house all excited about the small girl with the most amazing thighs who moved into Nana Parks. What did you say Yoongi? ‘Jin, I love you, but I want her legs to squeeze around my head when I eat her for dinner.’” Your face started to insanely pink, taking a small step back from the two men. Jin saw how you ducked your chin to your chest and ran to you, feet muddy as he touched your shoulders.

“I’m so sorry...did I read this wrong? To be perfectly clear, both Yoongi and I like you. Like a lot. But if you want to keep this just a neighbour thing, we are totally fine with that too.” You didn’t know whether your heart should be fluttering with reassurance, or with the fact both the men you’ve been pining over for the last week are like you too. Your lack of reply might have started to scare them, Jin cringing as he removed his hands from your shoulders, stepping back by his husband with his hands behind his back.

“YN, we’re so sorry if we-”

“No! Don't be! I just needed a second to process. You can like, totally have your way with me. Please. It’s all I've been wanting since I've met you.” All at once, there were waves of emotions flickering over their face. All far too fleeting before Yoongi stepped forward, grabbing the sides of your face and pulling you into a breath-stealing kiss.
