His voice brought me back to Earth. "Oh—no, it looks great. Thanks." I returned the smile.
"Where are you headed?" He moved the water bucket out of the way. "Anywhere fun?"
"Golden Sands." I tossed my snacks onto the front seat. "I don't plan on doing much more than reading."
