"Son of a bitch!" Christian screams at the top of his lungs. How he got there wasn't important. He was stuck deep in the Earth with several tons of rock blocking the only exit. He had already exhausted his stock of weapons long ago trying to break through the wall. He blinks away the dust in his eyes and takes a shuddering breath. He was never concerned with being with small places but now... He felt as if the walls were closing in on him. He was truly trapped. His breath hitches and he buries his head in his hands. He forces his breathing to steady. He had already used a lot of the presumably limited supply of oxygen trying to clear a path. He sits heavily on the ground. He hasn't slept for... Well. He's not sure. It's tough for him to tell how much time has passed in the darkness. He feels his eyelids droop but he forces them open. If he falls asleep he may not wake back up. He sits in silence letting his mind drift.
There's a tiny flicker of hope inside him that someone will find him. But... Even if someone does find him... Will they save him? He's done a lot of terrible things... He doubts that even Gentlespy would make the effort to unbury him. Maybe... Maybe this is what he deserves. This is what he gets for all the wrongdoing. All the murder. All the torture. He swallows, ineffectively trying to wet his dry throat. He had run out of water not too long ago but he was already feeling the effects of dehydration. He takes another breath, beginning to feel choked. It won't be too long until it's over. He tries to keep his breathing steady and slow.
His thoughts are racing, "I'm going to die here. It's time to face the consequences of what I've done. This is what I deserve. I deserve to die for all the lives I've taken. I'm going to die. God is going to judge me and see all the bad I have done. All the evil I have caused. I deserve this." He lies down, his lungs beginning to gasp for what precious little oxygen is left. "Nothing I can do. I can't walk away from this. I can't deny it any longer. Judgement day is here." He lets his eyes slide closed. The only thing he can hear is his gasps. He feels immensely tired. He blinks his eyes and tries to sit up. "I can't fall asleep..." His head feels too heavy to lift. "Why... Why can't I fall asleep again? I'm so tired. Just a little nap won't hurt." He lets his eyes close again as he listens to his gasping breaths. He can't bring himself to open his eyes as he hears some rocks tumble to the ground. His hand twitches as he gasps again. "I feel warm... Is that what dying feels like... It's not unpleasant... Maybe..." He lets the thought drift away as his brain begins shutting down. The last thing he hears before he falls asleep is a muffled voice.
