Here, in this Paradise, no one wants for anything. Everyone is happy here and the beautiful man they believe to be god seems to want nothing more than to please you. You should be happy too, even without any memories.
And you can't stop thinking about strange children who run through the night with swords, terror and strength in their eyes. You can't stop reaching for the missing piece against your side. You can't help but feel like something has been taken from you. Something precious.
But that strangely familiar, beautiful man with rainbow eyes seems perfectly content to have you where you are.
"The life you lived before was terribly, terribly hard," he says, carding his fingers through your hair and coaxing you closer. "Isn't it better? Here, with me?"
(And he will do whatever it takes to keep it that way.)
