    “Peanut?” someone called. “Logan?”
    Logan’s throat was so dry. He coughed, cleared his throat. No one else called him peanut. “Wade?”
    “Logan,” Wade said. Logan blinked, and suddenly he was there standing over him, in his full suit. He blinked again. He was so close to getting himself out. He hadn’t thought—

    “So.” Logan clears his throat. “Collars don’t work on you?”
    “Nope,” Wade says, popping the p. “Except in bed.”
    Logan takes a deep breath. “And that’s because…?”
    “Like I said, snookums, some people are born great, and other people have greatness thrust upon them. I was born great, but then God said, shit! Here’s more greatness with a steel chair! And metaphorically hit me upside my head with it.”
    Logan still has a headache from the collar. The dried blood on his face pulls at his skin when he makes a face, which he does now. “Short version?”
    “I’m weird. I’m a weirdo mutant.”
    “Okay,” Logan says, slowly. “So how did—”
    “I think sharing time is over for the day, don’t you?” And then Wade contorts himself to put his muddy, bloody boots up on the dashboard, which starts an argument that conveniently lasts the entire drive.

    Wade only tells Logan what he absolutely has to about his past and his body. Logan tries his best to listen.

    It's been a hell of a three year journey, but Wade's finally found Logan! Or, as he prefers to be called in mixed company now, Patch. He's lived a busy life just like Logan wanted, though not necessarily for the better. Watch him come crashing back into Wolvie's life like a semitruck with no breaks.

    The masked man lets out an appreciative groan that Logan knows. It activates sleepy and scared parts of Logan’s brain and digs him out of the dark.
    “Found ya, peanut,” Wade laughs wetly after shaking his head as if resetting his brain after having a knife lodged three inches deep. “Not quite how I was picturing having you back inside me, but beggars can’t be choosers, right?” His voice is raw and bloody…but it is Wade.

    Logan's been locked up for long fucking time. So long he doesn't even feel like a person anymore...that is, until his new nurse flips his whole world on its head. Slowly, he remembers who is is and what he stands for.

    Wade knows the Wolverine isn't as bad as everyone says he is. They say he just snapped for no good reason, hence chucking his ass into the super special mutant-only looney bin, but that doesn't add up. He's gonna find a way to free his hero if it's the last thing he does with his miserable life.

    And who knows, the two might even fall in love while they're at it.

    Logan’s heart beat faster in his ribcage. He hoped Wade couldn’t feel it.

    “By lower you mean…?”

    Logan didn’t want to assume, didn’t want to seem too eager to get his hands on Wade in ways that he shouldn’t.

    Wade reached down with one hand and tugged at the corner of the towel, not pulling it off.

    So he did mean his ass then. Alright. Fuck.

     

    Logan could do this. It was just a massage. An ass massage. That was completely normal and fine and not weird at all.
