Summary
The complexity of the universe increases overtime with an inexorability comparable to the second law of thermodynamics.
Astrophysicist believes that the universe began with an explosion of an unknown matter, continued by expansion and stretching of space itself which astronomers proved with observational evidence that they like to believe is enough. While, many believers argue that the universe is too complex to be a result of chance, that such complexity must have a cause, namely God.
Yushi doesn't believe in anything. Rather, he is certain: that in the beginning, there was him, and a guy named Maeda Riku.

Summary
It's never been in Yushi's character to want to be the center of attention. Yushi has always been the type to cower from attention, doing anything to avoid having eyes on him, and yet, the random guy who decided to start watching him at practices makes him want to go against his own inhibitions.

When Yushi was young he asked his mother this ; if his brain were to be transplanted into someone else, which one would still be him? The body — the body he’s always had — or his mind, in someone else's?
They were sitting on the curb by a pitstop, loooking out over a neverending and winding road, as his father filled up the tank of the car with gas. His mother had ruffled his hair and told him that that was a silly question, but he was very smart for his age. She didn’t give him an answer.
