“Come on,” Kip muttered to himself as the puck was stolen from the Admirals and then travelled all the way to Benett. As much as Kip knew that Eric was solid – if there was anything that he trusted Scott with, it was the way he thought about his team members – just one goal could make the difference.
Just like that, they turned the game around, back on the offense, and Kip was biting his nails. It didn’t help that Scott had not looked at the stands once, which kind of voided Kip’s entire romantic gesture.
Scott has never had family at an away game. Kip decides it's time to change that.
