Memories of his career, of social norms being shaken, and of his apparent marriage are all gone. Now he has to relearn the life he's led the last decade.
Connor remembers the day of Gavin's car accident with too much clarity. Weeks afterwards, when the love of his life wakes up from his coma, he looks at Connor like a stranger.
Gavin can't remember the life they've had together, shared together. He can't remember that Connor is an android.
And old prejudices are hard to forget.

Summary
Connor supposes he should be grateful Captain Fowler is even allowing him to continue to work at all without Hank there. But as Gavid Reed slams his palm onto Fowler's desk and points an accusatory finger towards Connor, he can’t help but feel like the Captain had to be playing some sort of sick joke.
“You stay the fuck out of my way, tin can. Don’t talk, don’t interrupt and don’t fuck with any evidence. Understood?” Reed’s voice was laced with the hint of a threat. If Connor didn’t listen, there would be hell to pay. Connor swallowed slowly and watched as the detective's eyes traced the movement, confusion briefly breaking through his anger.
OR
Connor and Gavin Reed are forced to work together after an injury puts Hank on medical leave, and Gavin learns there's more to Connor than what meets the eye. This story follows Gavin and Connor as they navigate a post-revolution world and manage to find peace with each other. That is, of course, after copious amounts of hurt/comfort with a sprinkling of angst.
