His job is to protect you and help you find out if you’re being stalked and who killed your parents, but he’s also incredibly silly and seems to be falling for you. His jealousy sometimes makes interacting with others difficult which also makes solving this case hard, but his powers also allow him to see and feel things that others can’t, including law enforcement. So, maybe his attachment to you isn’t the worst thing?
