Not in this lifetime, at least.Memories come flooding back to Rocky of an entirely different life he lived. The universe has given him the chance to reunite with the person he holds closest to his heart. And the one who is currently holding him up on the diner floor, telling someone that he needs an ambulance. Rocky grips the sleeve of his cardigan, calls Grace's name, and Grace holds onto him tighter.

The concept of a extremely religious Alfred is incredibly interesting and well written, it’s genuinely immaculate
The entire work itself has me on a chokehold and I’m an absolute sucker for it. I love how detailed everything is, the religous guilt and guilt itself that Alfred goes through, the internalized homophobia, it’s js so UGHHH 😭.
I don’t think I’ll ever find another fanfic that’ll be THIS good. The guilt, the angst, the sexual tension and content itself.
