Summary
Simon has lived in the same small town his entire life. He dreams of one day escaping to the city and playing his mother's guitar for anyone who will listen, just like they'd always planned before she died. He works all day at the local corner store so that he can save up the money to leave, only taking breaks to play at the local shelter.
Baz hates this town. He misses his life before the accident, when he was attending Columbia University and studying literature, but he doesn't think he'll ever get back to the way things were. He spends his days tending to what was once his grandfather's farm, trying desperately to make ends meet so that he can support himself and his father, who has been catatonic since the funeral. The only things that bring him joy these days are showers, long drives to clear his head, and listening to the beautiful boy at the shelter sing.

“Someone’s here.” He interrupted Arthur mid sentence, suspending them in silence.
“What do you mean?” Batman stood slowly, a couple others followed suit as everyone strained their ears to see if they could make out any unusual movement or sounds.
Just then, the metal doors making up the entrance to their conference room hissed and slid open revealing…

Summary
Therapy isn't working out for Tim (possibly because he has like, way too many issues), so Dinah suggests he try music therapy instead. This turns out to be such a good idea he drafts it to his team and suddenly he's moonlighting as a rock singer in a band that's rising in popularity. Maintaining a new "secret" identity is easy enough, and he's having a lot of fun!
Unfortunately for Tim, it seems he's a bit TOO good at the secret identity thing, because his family doesn't seem to realize that it's him.
Ugh, this is just proving his point.
