“Do you know that it’s been 81 days since the tsunami?” Buck speaks before Bobby can, and it catches him off guard.
“I didn’t,” Bobby says simply, getting the sense that Buck has more to say.
“I used to surf, back when I worked in Peru. Those waves were massive, even bigger than the ones here. There were many times where I got knocked down, but I always got back up, you know?”
Bobby nods, not entirely sure where this was going but wanting to be there for Buck.
“I… I almost didn’t get back up this time. But Chris was there and I needed to—for Chris. But then I lost Chris and Bobby, Bobby I lost him. I know Eddie found him in the end, but that doesn’t change the fact that I still lost him. And a small part of me wanted to give up.”

Shane reached out without thinking, his fingers brushing against the rough fabric of Ilya’s jacket sleeve.
Ilya flinched away. “Dun’ touch me!”
Shane blinked, thrown. “What the - ”
“I already have boyfriend!” Ilya declared, pulling his jacket around himself like a shield. “Are practically engaged!”
Shane just stared. “Ilya. It’s me.”
“Only my boyfriend may unwrap me.” Ilya announced. “Is respect.”
Ilya gets drunk and refuses to be touched by anyone except his boyfriend. Unfortunately for Shane, Ilya does not realize his boyfriend is the one taking him home.
