Summary
Cabrizzio’s arm instinctively curled around another person’s waist, preventing them (and their “real world” inanimate self) from falling into the abyss straight down towards the kitchen floor. His other hand slammed into the glass walls of the flat in the object dimension.
His head began to swim as his “self” drifted somewhere in between the two worlds. The glass was solid beneath his palm, and yet he somehow felt like he was phasing through it, his upper half leaning over the edge of the building. At the same time, he was very aware of his manifestation in the human world, and that holding this person in his arms within the object world is the only thing keeping that cabinet door shut.
An earthquake happens in the dead of night and Daisuke almost falls, but fortunately he's got Cabrizzio to hold him. Unfortunately, they're gonna be stuck like this until the rest of the house wakes up and finds them.
