I am bitter about the majority of Season Five, so here is a rewrite more rooted in the small town horror of Seasons One and Two.Hawkins, Indiana, 1987. A massive earthquake has forced many residents to flee, while those remaining face supernatural horrors and an overbearing, secretive military presence.
Expect Byler, actual stakes, no marvel-ification, consequences, deep talks, horror, Mike has a braincell and uses it, questions answered etc.
