“This wouldn’t be a problem if you accepted my friend request.” Yuuji pouts.
“Yuuji-kun,” Gojou says, tone all infinite patience. “How could I know that the random teenage boy trying to friend me on social media was my time-traveling student?”
Yuuji rolls his eyes. “Because you’re Gojou-sensei.”
It’s hard not to be a little charmed.
OR: yuuji travels back in time. he’s not especially good at it, depending who you ask.

This has some of the best POV writing and characterizations. It also made me die laughing multiple times. And that ending! An absolutely amazing work and such a great time travel fix.

Summary
Caranthir sighs, disgusted, and sits on the bed, as far as he can get from Celegorm without appearing like he’s halfway to crawling out of his skin. “I didn’t come back to life so I could hear how much my dying traumatized you.”
“You fucking bastard,” says Celegorm, and lunges.
[When Caranthir is reborn into Valinor, he must deal with everything he left behind in Beleriand- the annoying brothers, the overbearing parents, the family he lost and will never regain.
But there are things that Caranthir does not know. There are lies that have not yet been unwound. There are mercies he has never expected. It takes orange trees, infuriating brothers, silver ribbons and unseasonal thunderstorms, but slowly Caranthir learns precisely how wrong he is.]

Wow. This made me cry a lot. The grief is so tangible and the love is just as powerful. This author did such a good job illustrating Caranthir and his relationships with his family—especially what happened between him and Maedhros. The vivid dynamics we got to see between him and each of his family members was so so good. There’s something so resonant about not saying anything because you can’t say anything well enough. Damn.

“My dear Mr. Baggins, you cannot possibly imagine I have brought you across the boundaries of the sundered world, bending every law of gods and men, over land and over sea and through the fathomless heights, for your health? Well, I did, of course I did, and I’d do it again. But it was not for your own good only that I brought you here. I have been on this world a very long time, Mr. Baggins, and if there is one thing that I have learned about the Wise and the Great, it’s that they benefit from the company of hobbits, and it’s the wisest and greatest who have most need of them.”

Absolutely beautiful. It’s such a thoughtful piece about healing and the wisdom that comes from the unlikeliest of places. A lot of the linguistics went over my head, but this is so well written. If I’m to ever write a Silmarillion fic, I aspire to write with this much thoughtfulness.

This is such a thought provoking work. It has one of the best justifications as to why heroes (in comic universes) should not kill. it’s also so well written, with great characterizations, imagery, dialogue and voice… it’s beautiful.

Best Dick Grayson case fic I’ve ever read. It captures his motives for striking out as Nightwing, his love for family, his internal turmoil, his drive for justice, his way of thinking, and his persistence. The plot was so good and the characters + interactions were so heartbreakingly deep. I loved this.

Oh my god this was amazing. The pain is so tangible, and the dialogue, the character building, the way everyone important is included in some way... the resolution, all of it is so incredibly written. It's heartbreaking but it also made my chuckle at moments. This was also the most spot on portrayal of Dick Grayson I have ever read. Definitely one of my favorite works on here now, and definitely worth rereading again and again.

Summary
"He hated this – in case that wasn't obvious already. Wally had gotten used to watching from the sidelines since he left the life. It'd never been easy, but his early retirement had been out of his hands. It had been what he needed at the time. No matter how much time had passed though, Wally couldn't stand sitting here and watching as his friends risked everything to save innocent lives. He hated not being able to do anything.
And, as much as he loathed to say... he missed the rush of it. He missed the exhilaration, the adrenaline, that warmth in his chest telling him he did something truly worthwhile."
Eight months after escaping from the Speed Force, Wally is finally ready to dive back into the Hero Life. However, it isn't be as easy as he might have hoped. In the aftermath of his return, Wally struggles with controlling his powers, his trauma, and his own confidence.

This is so so good. The entire series is gold, but this one is the best, in my opinion anyways. I love how the author works through Wally and Dick’s trauma in this realistic retelling of how Wally gets back into the field, because it’s unrealistic that he just slips right into it after coming back from the speed force. The relationship antics are just as heartwarming as before; they make me swoon. I love how their personalities are written here too.

This was really good. Like really good. It has everything: great action writing, an interesting peek into the psychologies of a dozen heroes, a budding romance that was adorable, and a brilliant plot. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. So good.

Jason Todd is Batman.
Jason Todd was never supposed to be Batman.
Jason Todd never wanted to be Batman.
(Or, in a depressing-but-not-entirely-terrible future, Jason Todd is the third “official” Batman after the deaths of Bruce and his brothers. Getting into his old age and diagnosed with a terminal disease, he passes on the Cowl to his chosen successor, Terry McGinnis, and spends his last years in peace.
And then wakes up on the day Talia threw him into the Lazarus Pit.
Death called it a gift. Jason can only hope to make the most of it.)

Bookmarker's Notes
What the actual f***. This was so so so good, and now it’s my new absolute favorite work on this platform. Not only is it hilarious, but it also made me cry and smile and then I cried again... Jason and his love for the rest of his family is so beautiful and heartbreaking... The character depth, the world building, the goddamn plot and writing were all so fucking brilliant. It was such a rollercoaster, but I loved every single chapter in this, fuck.
