Summer, 2002. Ponyboy Curtis has just graduated from college. He has spent the past four years 1200 miles away from home. New York chewed him up and spit him back out, and now it’s time for him to head back home. The return to Tulsa drags up trouble in its various forms, most notably in the strained relationship between himself and Darry, which he now believes is unfixable.
In the wake of the recent publication of his debut novel and a reunion with his estranged not-best-friend Curly Shepard, Ponyboy examines whether or not the life he’s living is the life he really wants.
