Maki blinks, dumbfounded, and unfolds the drawing. It’s an illustration. Pen. Of him. He’s smiling, his eyes are sparkling, and if this is how he looks in Jo’s eyes, well. Fuck everyone, because he’s the most special guy in the world.

LOOKING FOR: Mystery Friday night singer on the third floor of the music building
Hi! This might sound a little strange, but I’ve been studying in the library every Friday night for a few weeks now, and I’ve always been able to hear someone practising their singing in the music building next to it. If that was you, your voice was so calming that it actually helped me focus, which was honestly kind of a miracle because calculus is… not my thing.
For the past two Fridays, I haven’t heard you, and I wanted to say that I miss it. If you’re out there and you happen to see this, just know that your voice made my study nights a lot easier, and I hope you come back.
And just to be clear, I’m not a pervert. If you message me, I’ll send you my student ID, and then you’ll know who’s been listening to you.
