蛋糕通常不会知道自己是蛋糕，但因为叉子会被蛋糕吸引，所以通常是被叉子袭击或是提醒后才知道的，普通人也无法得知，只有叉子能够品尝出蛋糕的味道。

Note: Although Viktor’s involvement is ethically questionable, the story does not villainise any character. Jayce and Mel’s marriage is already faltering when they seek Viktor’s help, and by the end, all three find peace. No Mel-bashing involved.
Told from Viktor’s point of view, with one chapter from Jayce’s perspective. The story revolves around a lot of pining, steamy sex, unspoken thoughts, desires and trauma, flawed characters, and the longing for love, culminating in a happy ending where everyone is happy. He can imagine it. Jayce coming home with a goofy smile on his face, proudly proclaiming he’s met someone. He would need to leave the cottage of course. There would be no more sharing a bed or even living together if Viktor wanted Jayce to have a real semblance of normality. The cottage would be so empty without him. No one would hold him when he cries, but really that would be fine. He doesn’t deserve it anyways. He deserves to be forgotten here, and maybe he can begin to atone for his past, starting with helping Jayce become happy.

Feeling guilty about everything that occurred with the Hexcore, Viktor makes it his mission to help Jayce have a new, normal life, starting with helping him find a romantic partner. He didn't anticipate how painful that would be for him though.

A lab accident gets Jayce expelled from college. Defeated, it's been a year since he moved back to his mom’s basement. The days blend and the time blurs when he passes every waking minute in front of his PC, videogames and hentai the only things keeping him entertained.
Then he's obligated to babysit Viktor, the son of one of his mom's coworkers, and his obsessive tendencies shift for the worse, or maybe it's all for the better (?)
