Summary
An anthology of a potential future of the Reaper Division.
It's not easy fulfilling the calling that the Abidan set out for them. Sometimes, saving worlds is the job. Other times, it's to stay their hand. A burden on anyone's conscience, even hardened by knowing the cost otherwise.

Summary
Windrunner, a relic knight of clan Altosk, died defending the others from To'Sefit. An ordinary death would have allowed him to come back -- the soul fractal was engraved into his armor, and his soul could have escaped. Such an invention was entirely new to the clan, but it still wasn't enough. Windrunner was obliterated, body and armor both.
The mites granted him a second chance anyway, somehow. But instead of being sent back into the fight, he was sent rather far away.
It might be a while before he makes it back to Earth.

Summary
In book 6, chapter 28, Keith and his enemy-by-circumstance-but-would-probably-be-his-enemy-anyway Drakonis get tossed into a mite portal. Their destination sets up a book-long arc and gets the story closer to wrapping up, but it's also a great canon departure point. And I love crossovers/fusions.
The first chapter is kind of a catch-all template for any kind of crossover from this chapter to another setting, but later chapters really do get into the setting of White Knuckle. It's a climbing video game in which you try to escape a rising flood of gore, at least at the moment, so that's what Keith and Drakonis will be doing.

Summary
A Deathless of the new generation is feeling pretty abandoned and useless. Turns out, so is the Feather guarding the mite pillars she’s supposed to be clearing.
They have a bit to bond over. If they can stop killing each other first.
——
Thought I’d write another 12MB fic, but this time *not* a crossover. Don’t worry, it’s got all the exposition dumps you’ll ever need, so no need to be familiar with the story.
I don’t have to try too hard to write if I can just rehash the setting description.

Summary
On the Unnamed World, some inhabitants have the ability to open rifts to another plane. Sometimes even two or more. Such rifts are called Gates, and they lead to one of ten Named Worlds. Endross, Lirial, Tartarus, Avernus, a few others. Ragnarus. Valinhall. Elysia.
Now, the Unnamed World is facing Gates opening of their own accord to completely new planes, threatening the land with uncontrollable dangers. Simon, always out on errands and assigned expert of "things that need killing," has the duty foisted on him to claim these Gates...somehow.
He gets some help. These Gates are an existential problem, so an otherworldly visitor provides tools for the job. A job that still, ultimately, falls on Simon.
At least he has a telepathic doll to keep him company.

Summary
When Zorian and Zach encountered otherworldly divine beings in this new world, they were worried about a lot of things. Being crushed like insects, hunted down as invaders, having their magic stolen and experimented on. What Zorian absolutely was not expecting was two babies being left on their doorstep.

Summary
The battle is over, but those who ascended from the Cradle left long shadows behind them. In one valley, once on the edge of the world, those shadows loom large.
For one young man whose master has ascended. He sees the end of the old order brought by The Void Sage as a sign that there can always be second chances, even for those blinded by stubbornness. He strives forward, unable to see that the same teachings he hopes to save souls could also damn them.
One lost daughter of Redmoon Hall struggles to find a place in a world where others are rewarded for diligent advancement, and she is condemned at every turn for the same thing. Suffering one loss too many, without even a hand to hold. She threatens to unlock something sealed away and draw down powers to rival The Death Monarch herself.
Choices will be made, and futures decided

Improve yourself.
The Path doesn't end once you leave Cradle, for Lindon and his companions, it was just a beginning.
A series of one-shots concerning the main crew (and various others). Mostly post Waybound with some exceptions.

Summary
He woke up in a world unknown to him with a body that was not his. The place was called Sacred Valley. He thought he could finally live in peace for the remainder of his short lifeline. But then a Wei clan boy comes delivering messages from the heavens. A warning that a dreadgod is coming. He could not leave the fate of his new home to a barely adult boy. He was going to act. He was going to advance.

My favorite of the few long-running and still-active Cradle fanfics. Really like the OC’s, funny that it’s the Heaven’s Glory sect getting to join Lindon and Yerin.

Few are the angsty one-shots in the Cradle series fandom. This one is my favorite of them all.
