He’s not sure if he should tell her.
Because noticing something so small and inconsequential about her feels strangely intimate.
As if he’s unconsciously holding on to every little expression and mannerism she has without meaning to.
So he brushes the topic aside.
And as the conversation moves on, he doesn’t miss the soft exhale she lets out, or the way her shoulders droop ever so slightly in relief, a reaction that mirrors his own, albeit for completely different reasons.
Or, Multi starts noticing little things about Katie unconsciously.

This care towards Katie was born from her ability to make him forget. With her, he wasn’t some mad scientist that everybody feared. He wasn’t green with the radioactive gunk.
He found himself wishing to be in her company more often than not, not that he would ever admit it.
He was just a platonic co-parent to an egg.

Katie leaves a decently normal life on her cozy Island, born and raised, with her adoptive brothers: Don, Ash, And Fariis. She has her family and friends and that’s all she needs.
Unfortunately, the government, the federation, does not take kindly to Katie after a particularly bad run-in she and her younger brother had with them.
The hunt for her, dead or alive, begins.

Summary
Katie consults Multi on a way to get her precious husband to remember her again. In his professional opinion, he reccomends that she jogs his memory via certain sensations. She decided that the best way to do that is by making out. Tomate, still hiding from the Federation, tries his hardest not to give himself away. Unfortunately, he finds that kissing Katie after so long makes him lose his composure.
