He's trying to remain calm, but when they duct tape all the fingers on his left hand except his pinky together then down to the table surface, he has a sinking feeling he knows where this is going. It's near-pointless, but he can't help but struggle, pull at the strapping just in case there's any kind of give, any way to get loose-
There isn't.
A woman approaches from the side, wearing some sort of apron and safety glasses, a small sledge hammer in one hand, and a large, wickedly-sharp looking chisel in the other. She looks up and over him, speaking to someone he can't easily see.
"Make sure the iron is ready, we don't want him bleeding out-"
He immediately tries to protest, to argue, but the gag prevents any of the words from making it out clearly, only the sounds escaping. The woman glances down at him, almost bored, like she's working some sort of office job or something.
"I can understand your distress, however if it's within your power to keep still, I'd highly recommend it. I imagine you'd like this to be as clean as possible-"
