The door flung open with great violence, slamming against the wall. A dripping Dazai stood shaking in the doorway, clothes ruffled and haphazardly put on. His tie hung loosely around his neck, some buttons of his vest slid into the wrong holes.
“Wha– Where the fuck have you been?!” Worry melted so easily into anger for Chuuya.
Dazai didn’t respond, eyes wide and distant. Dazai never wore the bandages covering his right eye during storms anymore.
“Oi, bastard. You’re soaked to the bone.” Chuuya crossed the distance with forceful strides, grabbing his wrist with more force than was necessary. He didn’t miss the way Dazai flinched as if burned at the touch, though he didn’t loosen his grip at all while he dragged Dazai in and closed the door behind them. “Hey, you there?”
There was no response, no indication that he had been heard. Only void eyes staring to nothing, face blank of expression.--
